This site has changed my life with hope for better health and given me control over my eating habits. I finished my formal fast 10 days ago and I know that I have learned much about my body over these past few weeks. The fast was relatively easy. I knew I wanted to change my eating habits several weeks before I heard about HPS.
I had already gotten myself off sugar, dairy and white flour, but then had constipation. I knew that wasn't right. When I started the pre-cleanse and the reading about acid and ph balance, I knew it was true. Getting off the acid producing foods has really helped me lose my intense desire for daily chocolate. Now I know I don't why I want to stay off sugar-- because I am aspiring to better health, not depriving myself --as I viewed my first attempt of getting off sugar.
I have lost about 15 pounds and gone thru some healing rashes and other symptoms that let me know my body has made some changes. To be able to pass up the desserts has been a bonus I didn't expect when I first started thinking about cleansing my colon. I figured I'd fast, clean it out & go on eating what I am accustomed to fixing. Now, I think in terms of fruits, vegetables
and juicing. A big glass of mixed vegetable juice is a treat for me, delicious, satisfying and good for me.
I hope these comments give you hope for a better way of taking responsibility for your health and feeling of well-being. It has me.
Sincerely, Kay M
