Hello again, Jos-hua and cleansing friends,

I'm back, after being away for about 2 months, while I caught up on other areas of my life and celebrated the holidays. Yesterday I commited to doing Levels 2, 3 and 4!

Last Fall, while at a beach retreat with my Nikken upline, a gal gave me a foot massage that I found to be painful.

(Nikken is a wellness technologies company dedicated to helping people live balanced lives, with healthy body, mind, family, society and finances and is where my journey actually began Feb 19, 1999)

She said "Joanne, you have a very toxic colon!" "Great!" thought I! (I was 75 lbs overweight, diabetic and have an apple shape.)
In spite of being a nurse and using Nikken products for over 3 years, I knew little, if anything, about colon toxicity or what to do about it. So the following Friday, I did a yahoo search and voila - I found HPS-online. spent most of that afternoon reading on the sight and, as they say, the rest is history.

I had NO IDEA this was going to entail so much! I believed Jos-hua when he said "7-day wonder". Actually, it was more like 3 weeks out of my life. As I recall, I got little else done during pre-cleanse and the actual cleanse. I DID it, however, and am so glad that I was able, with help, to do so.

The BIGGEST surprise during the cleanse was the I got tired of sweet fruit juice! Unless you too are a diabetic, the hugeness of that is hard to understand. If you ARE a diabetic, I need say no more.

The BIGGEST benefit is related. I no longer crave the sweets! I still want them, but the craving is gone and again, for me, that's huge. I did eat them over the holidays though. Upon returning to town, I went and had a Lipid Profile and Blood Glucose level drawn. I hadn't done so since last July. The fasting Blood Glucose
was 225. That prompted me to think I had better keep going with this program. Then, I got an email yesterday, reminding me that it is time to do so. ("When the student is ready, the teacher comes.")

Personally, I am the widowed mother of 4 single adults. Amy is a 26 year old teacher. Matt is about to turn 24 and is a Navy sonar technician, stationed in San Diego, at the moment. Mike is about as overweight as I am and he is 21 and Mark is 19 and is very small physically. The younger two still live with me, go to school and have part-time jobs. We also have two Boston Terriers - Grace and Maverick.

I look forward to sharing 2003 with each and every one of you. I trust I'll be able to help, as well as be helped, to understand, as well as be understood and to encourage, as well as be encouraged.

Happy New Year!
Joanne

Joanne,

Great that you signed up for all 3 remaining levels. Shows real commitment to your health! I too plan to do level 2 in February. Happy for you that you continue to resist the sugar poison!

Hi Joanne,

I'm glad that you have committed to become a Master Faster. That is what I have committed to, too. ;)

What a great example you will be to your children as you learn and then teach them how to be truly healthy.

I like that we are all taking this health journey together. It is good to have the support of fellow cleansers.

Good luck on your level 2.
Love,
Tisha

Good for you. You are committed to the same thing I am committed to, healing and being responsible for my health. Good luck, Joann. I am 59 and I feel like there is no time like the present. I want to feel well when I am 69! Take care and will follow your progress. Best wishes, Kay M

Go girl,
Congratulations on your committment. I too am getting ready to do level 2. I look forward to the day when you can run around freely with your terriers with a clean body from the inside out and really enjoy it.
Looking forward to sharing the boards with you.
Love Niamh;)

Dear Joanne,

I, too, am starting a level 2 cleanse on Valentine's Day. What better time to show ourselves some loving care!

I'll be keeping track of your progress through level 2. Let's both look for great results.

Hi Linda,
You made my day! I had the pleasure of having a companion during Level 1 and that helped me a lot.
Now I'm blessed to have you as my Level 2 partner.
Thank you for speaking up. It's always more fun to do something with a friend, than to do it by yourself.
Best wishes,
Joanne

Hi Joanne,

Glad to see you continuing on to the level 2. It might have been some wishful thinking that everything could turn around in 7 days but the important thing is you got here and are enjoying the many benefits of the program. And soon you will discover even more.

Will watch your progress with interest.
