Hello all! Long time lots has happened with me over the last year.

I have finally settled into my new house 20 miles outside of Austin Texas. We moved in 3 days before Thanksgiving -- and were imeadiately inundated with problems... no water, faulty plumming, faulty electricity, etc.

The worst part I think was that it took 3 1/2 weeks to get phone service and until this week to get internet. Being out of contact for weeks has been a challenge and then setting up all the computers again ... all our setups were undone -- didn't know any passwords or account names... fun fun.

I think the thing I am most upset about is that my hotmail account got eliminated due to lack of use and all my netwonder messages got wiped.

This may just be a lesson in impermanance. Through it all I managed a high level of serenity -- which I attribute greatly to the work done in conjunction with levels 1-3.

However, over the last year, my eating and exercise habits have gone almost completely awry. I did maintain once a week fasting for most of the year... I stopped several months ago when I thought I was going to begin my level 4.

But since then, the whole turning over of my life has taken its tool on my habits. Nothing is the same anymore. I sold my company -- I don't go to work in a traditional sense anymore. I moved to a new state... It has been very unsettling.

Anyhow, as I said, I finally feel like I am settleing down. And I knew that doing my fast was the very thing that would help me along.

I actually started my precleanse on the 16th of December -- and I am currently on day 4 of my formal.

I didn't want to wait for internet access to get going... and I have really missed being part of the community.

Anyhow, I am so ready for this cleanse -- water only is cool .. as I have done water only for my 36-hour fasts for most weeks last year and a couple of water only mini-fasts (for 3 days) when I thought I was comming down with something.

I am so happy to be posting here -- it really feels alot like coming home!

Love and light,

David

WOW David,

huge change, and a big transition time....Great that you are back. I've enjoyed your words to Krisitin and Gilbert...you have alot to give and share.

(sorry to hear of the netwonder losses! I hear how you are taking it in with reflective learning observations....)

Despite all that upheaval you have managed to fast one day a week - very admirable indeed. Best wishes for the formal L4 - I'll have to find that thread and see how you are going.

love Belinda

David,

I was a wreck after the four hurricane scares in the fall plus a few other unsettling things. Did a 7-day water fast -- while working -- and was back in balance in two days. Amazing.
