Greetings to all my fellow cleansers! My name is Kylea. I am 47. I am an estate caretaker, teaming with my husband Frank. We live in the Olympic mountain foothills, on the north Olympic peninsula, Washington State, USA.

I would characterize myself as cheerful and full of laughter, both sympathetic and empathetic. I am somewhat of a hermit, too; living miles away from civilization in as natural an environment as possible is exactly my cup of tea. Most of my spare time is spent wandering in the woods or at the seashore; though I am currently spending some indoors time playing with watercolor and sumi-e.

I can’t wait to get started with this program… but alas, I will have to. Of course when I signed up I didn’t know about the three week lead time. Three weeks from now I start at least two weeks of jury duty. Can’t imagine they will excuse me on the basis of needing to juice five times a day!

My goals for this change in lifestyle are to return my body to the light and clean feeling I remember from years ago. I’m anxious to “stop already” with the aches and pains, and to sleep well each night. Simple goals, and I feel confident that I will meet them with your help and with this program.

Now I’m off to post my thread at the pre-cleanse forum!
Best wishes to everyone here –

Welcome Joyful Hermit!

Ahhh, the peace and quiet of the Northwest coastal lifestyle. As a hermit at heart, I envy you! You have the job of my dreams!

No surprise you have chosen art as a hobby. I don't have the artistic talent, but do appreciate what others can create. Sumi-e appears quite challenging!

You can get out of jury duty simply by responding to examination with answers the lawyers don't want to hear. Ooops! Where did that come from?!

Cheerfulness and laughter go hand in hand with health. Returning your body to it's formal glory is just one of the things you will gain here. You'll have instant cleansing friends, a lighted path, and guidance from another place in time.

Welcome to your new lifestyle fix!

Your new cleansing friend,

William

Hi Kylea - welcome to the HPS community. You have chosen well and I'm sure you will even surpass your hopes and expectations expressed above.

Lucky you to live in the Olympic Mountains. My brother and his wife lived there a few year ago and are planning to go back at retirement. I hope to make it some day to see for myself. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the Catalinas.

Best of luck in the program. I'll be watching your progress.

Cheers!

Hi Kylea, Welcome from Australia to a fantastic community I call home!! :):) I started this program at 52, fat, on three Rx meds a day and feeling like crap most of the time. Thick as a brick from neck to butt. Now, 56, back to size 9, no meds or over the counter meds, energy to burn and feeling like I am in my 30's again. Although I really did not feel this great, particularly on the inside emotionally and spiritually. What a bonus!!

Awesome program when followed as directed. Awesome place to have an apartment away from home - I call this my health retreat pad!!

TAkce care, we are all in this together and help each other out heaps.

love and kindness,
Maz

William, thank you for your welcome! Hey what a coincidence, it's my dream job too! Oho, did I say I had any artistic talent? Not a drop -- but life is play, if you look at it that way; no talent required. I think you know this already! Hmmm, can see I will need to consult with you as jury duty approaches. Thanks again for the big smile!

Dear Anna, thanks for your welcome. It's good to know you feel this is a wise choice. If you come out this way let me know in advance and perhaps we can meet. I have read thru your current cleansing thread and you have marvelous strength. An excellent inspiration for me -- thank you!

Maz, what a great welcome. I have read thru your current cleansing thread and don't know how you find time to welcome newbies with your schedule and the challenges you and Chris face. Thank you, and bless you both!

This is a PS to my intro -- still haven't posted my pre-cleanse thread.

In a spectacular display of unhelpful timing, my computer crashed the day after signing up… it went to the shop and was pronouced Hopeless. Have ordered a new one but it won't arrive for two weeks. I am borrowing snippets of time on a friend’s work computer. So if it seems I am slow to respond, it’s hardware not heart!

Oh but the beautiful thing was, my hubby Frank received a whopping big bonus from our employer... within days of the crash... et voila! Money for the computer!

Cheers to all -

Hi Kylea,

welcome to HPS - so great your here. I love your energy and it sounds a beautiful place where you live. i have been to Washinton State around Spokane and drove to Seattle - but not the Olympic Mountains.

Timing eh. Even though I was chomping at the bit to start I liked the 3 week time frame and still had to make my 1st cleanse a little later - all in good time. Much orientation to do and there is always Dan't Book to read, contemplate work with.

I wish you all the best on this journey

Love Belinda

Ps I am so glad you found inspiration in my review...all there for you too of course!

Thanks Belinda for the welcome!

I was born in Spokane and still love it. What a varied state... lots of open places still.

I am actually grateful for my enforced delay since mail order takes a bit longer out here in the wilds. Still haven't received the books even, I'd be panicking if I was starting in a week!

In fact I decided to wait to start my pre-cleanse thread until I activated NW. Been reading over there and of course I have no idea what they're talking about without NW.

But I know that I will be starting at exactly the right time for me... and in the meantime I 've been reading all over the forums and gleaning "good habit" ideas along with inspirations like yours.

What a lot of wonderful people... can't wait to truly be a part of this.

Thanks again for the in-breath!

Hi Kylea,

I envy your idyllic lifestyle. I think I'm a somewhat urban hermit, preferring to stay home than going out these days. Some old friends are beginning to wonder if I'm anti-social. But through this forum, I prove I'm not really.

I truly believe there's no coincidence in the world, but that it was meant to be when the computer broke down and the bonus arrived, like when you're ready to cleanse, you found the right place. Jury duty might turn out not to be a hindrance after all. Whatever happens, you'll surely have lots of support in this community. Thanks for looking me up and for the cyber hugs. Hugs back.

Hi Kylea,

Welcome aboard!!

I saw your post over at Maz's and noticed I have a nearby cleansing neighbor...

I was wondering when someone in the neighborhood was going to come and join in with this fantastic group, and here you are.

As you can see you have found a great place to stop by and take charge of your health and happiness, although living in this part of the country there is much to be happy about.

Be sure to ask any questions that may arise and you will find that there is a wealth of information amongst everyone here at the site..

The benefits and the path that Jos-hua has laid out here will far exceed your expectations, and I look forward to following along with you on your journey to vibrant health!!! :D

Love and Light,

Hi Kylea,

Welcome to the group. I am starting my pre-cleanse on 2/17 and I am excited that we can go through this experience together. You and I are the same age and I too am looking forward to feeling healthier.

Good luck with your jury duty, I might be interesting if you get a trial.

To Tsang: you are so very right, it is all happening at the right pace. Who knows what marvelous thing will come out of jury duty?? (Though I am willing to wait to find out, grin). I got Daniel's book in the mail last night and started reading this morning... gave the book to my husband to read the food combining chapter so he'd know why I was eating only part of the meals I'm making for him, and he said he wasn't about to eat another ill-combined meal after reading that... wow, does that make life easy. So I have three or four weeks to practice food combos for us, before I focus on pre-cleanse. Yay!

You are clearly not anti-social my friend. But the hustle and bustle "outside" sure looses its appeal as the "inside" becomes clear and still. I have never been to your part of the world but have an idea the lifestyle is as hectic, or more so, than our cities... can be hard to find common ground with friends if they are not moving toward stillness also.

But here's another hug from another hermit! Inward *is* upward!
love to you, Tsang -

To Steven: hey! you're practically next door! Thank you for the welcome, I am indeed delighted to have found this group and Jos-hua's program. Exactly what I need.

To Diane: you will be just ahead of me, I expect to start pre-cleanse on March 21. Thank you for looking me up!

To both of you: I look forward to chatting with you more... when I get back online myself I will find your threads! Hey, did you notice we are all three the same age???

Hi Kylea,

I did notice that we are the same age, is it just me, but where did all those years go?

I am really excited that we are going to go through this together. I am reading and getting prepared for my pre-cleanse as I am sure you are.

Talk to you soon,
Diana

Good morning Kylea!

I wanted you to know that I had a strange night last night - went to bed at 10:30 and woke up at 2:30 and was awake until 5:30 itching and twitching. Then slept 2 more hours. Mind was very full, body was jumpy with itches and twinges. Couldn't seem to get comfortable. It probably had something to do with having one Margarita before dinner last night, followed by fish and some rice - bad combining!

Company's here until Wed. this week.

Had a great swim and hot tub soak this morning. Feeling rarin' to go.

Interesting. Hope you have a great day yourself!

Love, Anna P

Diana -- definately not just you! My darling brother turns 50 in a couple of weeks -- he of course is just a fresh-faced kid fer cryin out loud! Ha! Yes I'm reading up like you, fun and interesting isn't it! I'm finally on the pre-cleanse board so will post a few thoughts over there, probably tomorrow since I'm still sans computer (and the ship date moved out to the end of Feb, alas). I'm glad we're doing this together too, could be the start of a beautiful friendship, smile. Talk to you soon!
