Hi Everyone,

It's great to be back for another cleanse with you all. It's been about 6 months since my level 3 and I'm ready for the all water fast of level 4. My digestion has improved so much on this program that I cringe when I think how it was before I started this program.

The main focus of my precleanse will be to break the bad habits of morning coffee and a sedentary lifestyle, which have been problems since level 1. The craving for coffee is a lot weaker this time around, so I think I should be OK as long as replace the coffee with something else like herbal tea.

Since the level 3, I've noticed a few changes with how my body works. When I eat something I shouldn't, my stomach let's my know by rumbling a little, although some foods I know are bad don't cause any reaction. Based on what my stomach's telling me, shrimp is the worst food I could possibly eat. Another positive change has been that I can now eat foods that I was previously allergic to. There used to be some foods that would cause itching after eating them but no longer do. I think this may have been a result of the liver flush.

I have a skin condition called psoriasis that I've been fighting a long time now. I went through a couple months of accupuncture and chinese herbal medicine a few months ago but it didn't seem to have any effect. I think the brief use of prescribed corticosteroids is what has made my skin so difficult to treat. I finally had to give in and use one of the new biologic drugs. The drug has helped quite a bit with no side effects, but it's pretty expensive for my insurance. I'd like to eventually be free from any drugs, but I realize it may take awhile. Looking forward to cleansing with you all.

Best regards,
Diogenes

Hi Diogenes,

And it is great to see you back! Here's to another crack at those habits that can be so ingrained. I like the idea of tracking these habits to see how they can be less consuming level by level. I remember the psoriasis that you were dealing with. Hopefully the level four will bring about significant improvement in that area. A cleaner, more detoxified body is certainly the foundational step to take. Take care.

Hi Diogenes,

how fantastic you are back to move forward to L4.

I relate to the coffee thing. I was so surprised that L2 seems to have moved it wel out of the realm of a physical craving for me - my mind has convinced me to have 2 (since last Nov) and this was the last 3 weeks or so I think - so great to not enjoy them!!...and move on.

I've always found it hard with herbal teas, you know drink them because they are good for you! This has changed as well. As I have dropped milk, coffee really had no appeal and I gues I craved the cleaner feel of herbal tes. we have great tea shops in Australia and I went wandering into one when Jos-hua mentioned Oolong tea - I didn't really know what it was. so I have been getting into the high choice factor, the ritual and the 'clean' taste.

I wish you well on dropping coffee and moving forward/leaving behind with your skin issues.

I look forward to following your journey,

love Belinda

Hi Martin and Belinda,

Thanks for the posts. I'm currently experimenting with various teas to see which make me feel better. In an 8 hour day at work, there are times I just want to eat or drink something. Apples work well for a snack, and herbal teas are good for liquid replenishment.

Take care,
Diogenes

Hahah, you are already there, at level 4? I can't believe it. I remember when you started cleansing here, seems like yesterday.

So the skin issue has remained the main issue still? On a scale of 10 being the worst and 0 the best, where is it now, and where was it then... and I mean everything about it, not just physically, but mental and emotionally too.

I wish you a very productive cleanse. Intuition tells me that your first Master Faster cleanse will be your most productive, so I'm glad you are at the doorway to that.

Also, let me know what you did with the TCM beyond the accupunture ( I was surprised to read accupunture for skin, I would have thought herbally would be the way for the TCM to address that, or both combined herbal and accupunture)... skin is spleen and lung meridians if i am not mistaken (which i probably am so please correct me  ) and am interested what when on herbally, and for how long herbally... please advise on that too.

All the best,

Peace, love and light,

P.S. btw shrimp is a problem for my digestive tract too. When I was in the stage of checking and experimenting (where you are now), i remember after a cleanse how i discovered the next day how it didn't digest and came out as piece in the colenema i did the next day to see.
