It is now time for level 2.

I have been hard at work keeping midnful of the foods that I eat. Once upon a time I would have a coke and a pop tart for breakfast, a cheese burger and fries for lunch and then Pizza for dinner. Now my standard fare is some whole wheat garlic toast in the morning, a salad with lettuce, peppers, onions, a pear. raisins, almonds and fresh grated cheese for lunch and for dinner some brown rice stir fry with broccoli, peppers, mushrooms butter, onions and garlic. Different vegetables get infused throughout the week and I snack on natural active yogurts and soaked raw cashews.

I do still get in my share of sushi and once every other week a pizza. I try to not be militant about my regimen. I have seen progress in how my body feels though. Hardly a sniffle this winter.

I plan to start my formal this time right after Easter. I am looking forward to more progress.

at level 1 I scored a 25 on the quiz
today I scored 5
My original 5 habits to change were:

I don't fill up with water regularly (been much better)
I snack on junk food (been much better)
I drink too much soda (I am down to maybe once a week- no diet soda)
I stay up too late (this is one I am working with right now)
I overeat at times ( I am doing so so with this - Occasional pizza/beer binge)

we shall see where I go from here.

Good day to all

Hi Matthew-

I checked out the calendar to see when you start everything.

Wow! 18 days for the pre-. That'll be great. I'm envious of your quiz score. Mine was 5 points higher than last time. Ugh.

Pizza is a weakness for me. It's probably my favorite food, next to king crab legs. Oh, and I love beer too. Especially the good stuff. I have a friend whose hobby is brewing it. And he is good at it. Haven't had any of his in quite sometime though. Don't see him and his wife as much as I used to. They are linked to the lifestyle I am working to move away from.

Anyway, good luck with your pre- and I will look forward to your formal. Especially since I will be finished with mine by the time you start yours. :p

Peace,
Laura

Hi Matthew and welcome back for level 2. What a great start you've made of your time since finishing level 1. The great thing, too, is how delicious all those heatlhy foods really are. I have the occasional pizza and beer too, though. And like Laura, I like the homebrewed stuff, too--used to make it, in fact.

Anyway the balance of your diet as you've described it is far more beneficial than toxic as it is, and of course as you progress through the levels a lot more of things will come into balance for you. Congratulations on an excellent beginning.

Well if that is not pretty phenomenal, I don't know what is... I say phenomenal not just because of the action itself, or the foods themselves, or the health benefits themselves, but moreso for the happiness and positive energy I feel jump off the words as you wrote them.

What good is doing something if it creates suffering? I like you found a lot of happiness develop from my own cleansing and it keeps growing year after year. I hope yours does too!! :) People who have never cleansed this way, think this cleansing is full of suffering. Just the opposite I think (and know).

I put a few weeks ago some coments of yours up at the order page... I hope it inspires some people there, as I hope your intro and testimonial re level 2 will inpsire others. I know you are inspiring me, so forge on cleansing friend. Keep the inspirations coming.

Wishing you all the best, thanks for being part of HPS. HelpingPeopleSurvive- it is a cooperative effort you know.

Here with you, for you.

Peace, love and light,
Jos-hua
