Greetings:

I am a business ed. high school teacher. I am in my 38th year of teaching at the same high school!! I am married with three grown children. I also run a small drywall business, working alone or with the owners.

I have seen several friends recently have serious illnesses (heart attacks, colon problems, etc.) and began to see my own body breaking down--prostatitis, urinary inflamations, diverticulitis, and 50-60 pounds overweight. I knew I wanted to change things.

It was at that time that we (my wife and I) saw and learned of the dramatic changes in Pat W after participating in the HPS program. We both completed the Level 1 program in August. My weight is now the lowest it has been in many years and have no problems with the illnesses mentioned above.

I went into Level I knowing that it worked, but not knowing if it would work for me. I know it works very well for me and look forward to even improved health as a result of Level II. We started our precleanse yesterday and plan to go for two weeks before starting the formal cleanse. We wanted to do this during Christmas vacation, but we had our daughter and son-in-law here from Colorado, so waited until February school vacation which comes in two weeks. by the way, I made it through Christmas without eating any of my favorite candy--first time I ever did that!!

It is said that the person most against smoking is the ex-smoker. That is also true about what one eats. I ate improperly for 57 years. As a high school teacher I see kids whose breakfast is a bottle of soda. I see overweight teachers eating pizza and soda for lunch. As a result of my weight loss, I have had an opportunity to explain about the HPS program to several teachers. None have bitten yet--they don't want to change. It takes commitment.

God bless and good night.

Welcome back for level 2, Wayne.

What an impact you could have on the kids you see every day by sharing what you are learning with them. Thay may not listen, but at least you can try to show them the error of their ways:D .

I also made it through Christmas without making all the goodies that I would have made in the past B.C.C. (before colon cleansing). I miss the traditions a little, but I value my families health more, so I make choices.

Good luck on level 2,
Tisha

Hi Wayne,

Congratulations on a successful Level 1 experience and for continuing on to the next level. It is astounding how people don't want to change even when there is proof right in front of them. I see my son and his wife making poor choices for themselves and their children and it is frustrating. Their excuses are too little time and not enough money to feed a family of 6 the way we have learned to eat on this program. Then there is the anxiety factor as well. We can't make decisions for others, we can only lead by example.

Its a shame we don't teach kids about the wonder of how our body is supposed to work and the best way to nuture it. I know I would have enjoyed those lessons and hopefully would have made so many different choices. I'm just thankful I've learned it now so the next 50 years will be better.

Dear Wayne,

Good to see you back with us. As a mother of a high school student, I feel your pain. I have had very little luck with influencing a change in my son's eating habits.

I think in the long run it will have a effect. My husband, 10 yr old son and I try to eat well and take care of ourselves and consequently haven't been sick in the last year and one half (the time I've been working with the princliples we're learning here). My older son has been sick twice -- last year with a full blown case of the flu.

In time I think he'll tire of living the consequences of his choices. I think you're in an awsome position of being able to influence young minds. Perhaps they'll think you're nuts now, but in the future when they're ready, they will have your example to call upon in making better choices.l

Again, great to hear from you again.

Welcome, Wayne, I can sure relate to your feelings of it will work but wil it work for me. WOW. I went thru my cleanse just after Christmas and have been sticking to my new way of eating, but it takes commitment and staying close to the support group. Glad you have had such good success and looking for more good health.
Sincerely,
Kay
