Greetings fellow cleansers!

Level 2 is now in sight! I completed Level 1 in mid-January and am amazed how fast the time has gone since then. As some of you know from my post cleanse thread, February involved a lot of traveling and eating out. Other than that timeframe I've been able to stay pretty much on focus with diet. I have never had much of a sweet tooth and had given up dairy and most meat prior to starting HPS.

For me, HPS was stepping it up a notch in the quest for better health and diet choices. Like many others here, I have been reading and picking up info bit by bit over the years. However, until I got into the HPS cleansing program, I didn't realize how uninformed I really was with regard to what it takes to develop optimum health. My idea of good health practices was taking natural food supplements to offset the deficiencies in our North American food chain and maybe adding a little bit of exercise to that. Oh, and of course, avoiding tissue destructive habits such as alcohol, tobacco, and recreational drugs.

In all my reading I never found any satisfactory info on food combining guidelines and definitely had never seen anything about parasite issues. Level 1 provided good food combining info and now Level 2 will teach and provide action on parasites. I am also really looking forward to working with the Tibetans as that will address the exercise/energy issue.

It is such a blessing to have a program that leads you step by step to the end result. Everything else is bits and pieces and you have to hope that you put them together correctly.

In Level 2 I am also looking forward to being able to focus mentally on the cleansing/detox process. In Level 1 I was so consumed by learning all the mechanics of the board and schedule that I don't think that I really was able to let my body relax. In Level 2, relaxation and focus on the cleanse process is going to be my physical/mental agenda. I will be doing a 14 day precleanse and a 10 day formal cleanse. I know that it will be a real challenge to stay focused for three weeks, but I now understand how important that focus is to achieve the results that are available to those who will engage in the necessary practices. I do not currently have any outside work demands so I will be able to give the cleanse my full attention.

I really like the idea of looking anywhere from 3 to 10 years younger than my actual age! That is a possibility held out by Jos-hua in the Level 2 introduction email to those who fully engage all aspects of the HPS program. Master Faster here I come. I cannot really put into words what this program means to me personally as I look forward into the second half of my biological life on this planet. In some ways it truly feels like a new lease on life.

A final point that I want to share has to do with my grief process. As I mentioned in my Level 1 introduction, I lost my youngest son last year by suicide. Next month will be the one year anniversary of that event. Unlike the process to build physical health, the grief process refuses to let itself be harnessed and directed. It arrives unannounced at times of it's own choosing. In fact, I have coined the phrase "grief seizure" to describe these "events". This week it has chosen to show up several times - the first one quite noisely! These times of grieving are physically and emotionally exhausting. I feel that God truly brought HPS into my life to aid in navigating and surviving the grief journey as well. I cannot fathom what kind of health state I would be in if I were without the diet, cleansing, and now energy work tools that I have found here - not to mention the support of fellow cleansers to encourage me on my journey. Thank you all. I am convinced I will find major support and direction in the coming days as I travel the "cleansing path".

Your thankful fellow cleanser,

Ron

Greetings Friend,

Ronald, I rejoice in your rejoicing.

Forge on cleansing friend. We have much to do over the coming months. Level 2 is an important step in bringing closure to your introductory level 1 cleanse. As you mention above, now you are not any more a novice, so the processes and procedures will appear to you differently and practice can become a habit, and not just an idea.

Effort is crucial in athe beginning for generating a strong will. Moderate effort over a long period of time is important, no matter what you are trying to do. One brings failure on oneself by working extremely hard at the beginning, attempting to do too much and then giving it all up after a short time. A constant stream of moderate effort is needed. That's why this cleansing is broken into steps, stages, levels.

All of us are here for you, with you. Forge on friend. You are in my heart.

Hi Ron,

Wow, time does go by fast. I think you will really enjoy moving into level 2 I know I did. I'm sure you have read this before but it's true that level two really makes all the practices in level 1 concrete, a great foundation for level 3 and 4.

Best Wishes,
Michael

Thanks, Jos-hua for the words of support and encouragement. I am working to transfer my efforts in the diet and physical cleanse area of this journey over into the income and spiritual life areas of my life as well. I am finding that oh so subtly my mindset for these efforts is beginning to improve and change as I progress. Also helpful in this process, as you consistantly remind us, is staying involved in the forums as a means of staying on track and not losing momentum.

Thanks, Michael, for reaffirming the importance of Level 2 in establishing the foundation upon which to build in future cleanses. How important a solid foundation is to any venture and how difficult it is in our "instant everything" culture to give foundation building the attention it needs. After all, everything that will appear "above ground" will only remain and function properly if the foundation is correctly laid to support it.

Building for the long haul, one day at a time!

Ron

Ronald,

Wow, you've gone through a lot in the past year! I can't begin to express my sorrow for your pain and loss.

I know the kind of pain you've gone through will never completely go away on this earth but I'm glad that you have been able to go through it so well!

I'm glad that you found HPS and that it seems to be helping you as well.

I look forward to seeing your progression here and know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Love,

Michael_S

Michael, only two days into the formal cleanse and I can already definitely confirm your earlier comment about L2 making the L1 practices concrete. All I can say is, "yup". It is interesting how much like a four year college program HPS has turned out to be. Just like the sophomore year, the L2 takes the beginning steps of the freshman year (L1) and adds to them. The student is not mature yet by any means, but definitely no longer a "frosh".

I really find the college analogy an appropriate one for what happens through the full program here. I mean, think about it: reading assignments, lab work (colenemas), classroom participation (the forums), and more reading assignments. How different is that. But unlike college with various and sundry professors, here we are working with ONE mentor - JMM himself. :)

Anywho, this is one solid learning environment and experience. Guests please take notice!!!!!!
