A renewed HELLO to all fellow cleansers,
This introduction was supposed to have been posted long before this. However, I had problems with my monitor, (bought a new one), then had a night when the server went down, and finally had a beautiful intro all completed when something happened again with my computer and I lost it all. Well, here I am trying again.
My husband and I did a level one cleanse in August. We are now signed up for a level two to begin on the evening of February 14. Happy Valentine’s, dear! We have already started our two weeks of pre-cleanse. All of our products are ordered and have arrived except for one on its way (an oversight).
I work as an Ed Tech III at a local high school in Special Education. I am also a deltiologist (postcard collector), sewer, crocheter, knitter, and scrapbooker. Of course, most of the last are done in my FREE? time.
My husband and I have raised three children, a boy and two girls. Two now live in Colorado and one here in Maine. Although two are married, we have no grandchildren yet; therefore, my Yahoo e-mail address handle of “wannabgrammie.”
I must take a moment here to summarize some of the changes I’ve experienced since my level one cleanse.
1. Weight – Through the pre - cleanse, formal cleanse, and post cleanse time of a couple of months, I lost about thirty pounds.
2. Since that time, I have not had a problem maintaining the same weight until now – a surprise and relief.
3. My heartburn is gone.
4. My craving for and taste for sugar and chocolate are greatly diminished. I was very surprised at how little I wanted sugar to feel satisfied. I have had some small amounts of sugar in the last couple of months but realize that it doesn’t taste the same and is not good for me. My goal is to eliminate it all together after this second cleanse.
5. I am eating much more fruit and veggies.
6. My vision changed - better.
7. My husband says my snoring has decreased enough that he can sleep now.
8. My hemorrhroids are much better.
9. Constipation greatly improved, much more regular or at least daily.
10. I feel so much better about how I look (figure wise). I now have a shape other than that of a barrel.
11. I have much less sinus problems and no post - nasal drip.
12. I have less bad breath and less gas.
September to December was busy and a little overwhelming for me. We finished our big remodeling project on the house the weekend before school started. There was a lot of cleaning, relocating of the office and lots of sorting to do. In December our daughter from Colorado came for a week with her husband.
The main unfinished business now is to finish a course started last April! Fortunately, there is flexibility with this course but I do hope to be done with it by April.
My dog, Sue, and I have continued to walk a mile each morning and evening. (We had our year anniversary in January.) Yes, we even walk when with the windchill it is 25 below. We walk in snow and rain or sun. Only, sickness, injury would prevent a walk. Time on occassion has made it a 3/4 of a mile walk. We both love it; especially the moonlight walks in the AM.
I am really interested in getting to know more of you over the next couple of months.
I just hope that someone out there who reads this will not be afraid to try cleansing. It really does make a difference!
Love,
Linda H
