Well, here I am, back into another pre-cleanse. It's been a bit longer in between L2 and L3, but I have to say that it just feels right to be cleansing again.

I waited about 3 months between my level 1 and level 2, but waited a bit longer between 2 and 3 - it's been about 4 1/2 months since I finished L2. I could have commenced L3 a month ago, but I had a vacation planned the first part of April, so I figured it would be best to "live it up", then come home and do some housecleaning :)

It's not too difficult to get motivated though, seeming how much I've already benefitted from the first two cleanses. In L1, I was able to completely rid myself of colitis, which had been an issue for over a year prior to starting HPS. I've not had ANY symptoms since finishing L1 nearly 9 months ago :)
And L1 was just the beginning. In L2 I put behind me ALL of the prostate symptoms I had been experiencing over the prior 5 years or so. So, one can see why I'm that much more motivated to continue on the cleansing path.

I have no particular pressing issues for my L3, but know how good I've felt both physically and mentally after cleansing in the past, and I want to experience more of this. One of my goals is to experience this optimal feeling on more of a regular basis. Plus, I've strayed some from the good habits, and the cleansing cycle guides me back on the path which I am happier on, much less feel more healthy on.

Having done several cleanses prior to HPS, I know that a series of 4 cleanses is not my end goal. I chose HPS because of the education it provides, plus the support community. HPS will more firmly set me on the lifelong path of better health - and part of this is periodic cleansing. After the 4 levels of HPS, I know that I'll have the basic tools to launch me forward.

Greetings Kevin,

Wow, time has passed quickly. I remember when you just wrapped up your level 1 cleansing and now here we are at the gateway to level 3.

I am delighted to hear of your renewal... on all fronts... and just imagine, these things you are talking about is what you knew about... there are, were, let there be no doubt, things lurking under the surface, some of them boiling and festering for years and no one knew about them... they too are on the run...

This is so great. Please practice more now... you aren't a novice anymore, you are entering into the major leagues now... and that requires from you a reorientation of your perspective and where you want to go the next few years. I look forward to your Master Faster Cleanses. Seems you got it. Great. Congrats.

Wishing you all the best.

Kevin, so great to hear of the health improvements, and although you have no health issues for this cleanse, it will definitely help you toward prevention of them returning! :)

Kevin,

Wow, it sounds like HPS has really helped you!!!

Thanks for your words to my introduction. I'm here to cheer you on as well! ;)

It's nice to have another person doing their level 3 cleanse about the same time as my own. It looks like about the time that I'll be finishing up my formal cleanse you'll be starting yours! :D

I look forward to seeing both our results!!! :D

Your cleansing friend,

Thanks Jos-hua, Janaka, and Ramona for your kind and encouraging words :)

After finishing my intro last evening and while preparing for bed, it dawned on me that I indeed have a major obstacle that I still meet, which I wasnt' able to accomplish getting past in my first two levels, and that would be my issue of constipation. Pretty amazing that I had forgot to mention this - I know how foundational this issue is to my health, and certainly do not view this as a small issue. For the most part, I am regular in so far as eliminating each morning, and often what I would consider a healthy amount. However, that is almost always it for the day - once a day, and nearly always in the morning. This is certainly something that I will continue to strive toward improving - say twice a day would be such a hugh step!
I trust that with time, patience, and proper steps taken, I will improve in this area.

I began 5 days ago on my pre. I still though have not received my products - namely the alk that I should be taking week 1. So, I've been really good at eating almost all fruits and veggies - and mostly raw. Have been extra careful to completely minimize any acid foods. I've been continuing since my L2 the chlor and alph, as well as 3-6 grams of chlorella which I've been taking for over a year now. Have been getting carrot juice and 1 oz of wheat grass juice - I have gone in waves with this over the past many months, but now am consistent every day with both. So, I'm feeling good about getting a good start on my pre. Actually, I think I may be having some slight cleansing reaction/signs of detox just from the clean start I've had over the past 5 days...

Have continued with the 5 tibs since L2, but have just got back into some informal breathing exercises. Just finished my season of 3+ months of long hours, and often times stressful, with my work. So, I'm really taking advantage of the timing of coming off this busy time and heading into my next cleansing cycle :) It really feels great. Starting to take more time to relax, and be conscious of getting in a positive mindset. Also getting back into the reading - have picked Dan's first book up again for a third read - such great stuff! Looking forward to receiving my new L3 reads.

Hi Kevin,

Once a day is perfectly acceptable and normal. I too have the exact same schedule you mention... in fact, peristalis seems so heightened now for the last few months that it seems the minute I open my eyes, within minutes, my bowels are ready for movement, that first minor internal movement takes place immediately, without putting anything anymore in my mouth or digestive tract.

Interesting enough, I notice though how circumstances change this immediately... like when i change climate or environement. Just came back from meditation retreat in Malaysia, and during the three day retreat, no bowel movement at all, even though on the evening of day 1 I had a huge meal and the day before also a nice meal at 6:00PM so we know that a lot of stuff was there to be evacuated... this by the way happens each and every time I go to retreat no matter how many days... two years ago December I went for a 10 day retreat in silence at Wat Suan Mok in south thailand, and there it was 10 days no bm... just showed me how large my colon can expand... was painful of course to finally evacuate, the first meal after the retreat sent me right to the toilete and it was so so so huge, that the toilet of course got blocked up and it couldn't be flushed down. :o Lucky me, that i stayed around to help clean up after the retreat (put the cushion and mats away, to sweep up, etc... so i got to clean up my own mess without any embarassment. :p :D

In general, one bm a day is right. Quick, easy, right texture, and smell and color... whatever is off or about to go off in your health, you'll see it there if you are comparing day by day for a few months... after that, it all becomes effortless and its just a glance, a quick glance, non noticable one at that.

Of course, during the different levels of cleansing, you are going to have different experiences during your post-cleansing... you will sooner or later have the 2 or 3 times a day bms... that is such a light experience... food goes in, digestion is functioning excellently, and within hours the wastage is excreted... but that type of physical functioning is usually coming about when mentally, emotionally and spiritually all the cilanders are firing too.

But again, if one a day is stable, rejoice and give thanks... that's a fine place to be daily. ;)

Wishing you all the best.

Peace,

Kevin_S

Dear Jos-hua,

Awesome reply - thank you, thank you, thank you! And, LOL, LOL, LOL :D
Seriously, just this feedback from you was worth the price of admission :)

I know that it's not good to put tooooo much mental energy or worry into the whole regularity thing, but it's certainly important enough to keep in check. I've been careful to keep this issue of mine in a good, healthy perspective. So, to hear you say that once a day (as long as it's a good amount, texture, smell...) is fine and OK, that really helps me - thanks again. I suppose that, given that we are all wired differently, that for some, normal would be once per day, and for another, 3 times per day. I have a friend that eats very healthy as well, and he will go 3 times or more, often before noon!

It's when I go through periods of time where I go a day without "going", or, the volumn and/or consistency is not good, that I feel somewhat concerned. Lately though it's been the once per day with good volumn and consistency :)

And yes, changes in my environment, especially travel (mostly flying) will "bung" me up. I find that prunes really help. I'd be interested to hear what any of you feel about taking prunes "to get back on track"? I know it's a lot better than most other laxitives, but it would be great to do it with just raw fruits and veggies, but often times it takes more than this for me.

Hi Kevin,

Just a comment about prunes...

ANYTHING has got to be better than the crap I sell in the pharmacy for constipation. I would always reach for real food instead of a pill. Now if only I could convince my customers...
