Hello Folks,

Well I am back after over 4 years starting again. This time I am afraid that it is because I must do this not just because I want to. I have had a serious problem with my lower bowel that has gotten very serious. I have tried to do a couple of fasts with colonics over the past few months, but because I did not prepare with a good enough preclease and then went back to my old habits the same problem came back and with a vengence. Too much wine, too often, not enough rest, too many animal products etc.

So I followed my wifes example and went to raw vegan with lots of green and high Alkaline juices and saw some relief within a few days. I will stay on this raw vegan diet for some time now as I feel better than I have in a while. My body is indeed telling me to listen. I was trying to get a quick fix for a problem that I created over 44 years. For me to heal, will take time, and for me to stay and be healthy will require a lifesyle change both physically and mentally, which I have already begun. It is interesting that when I am forced to with fear and discomfort, that motivation is no longer a problem.

James

Hi James,

Yeah, it's funny about the motivation factor. Another more tragic element is the similar ease with which that motivation is forgotten as soon as a problem appears to be relieved. I'm not in the habit of praying, I often say, but when I feel motivated to I usually have to tag on a "And THIS time I mean it." Hopefully your expereience with a recurring problem will cement the gravity of healthy practice better than before.

Geology, huh? I guess in Texas that probably means petroleum. Whatever the application, I've been increasingly interested in the field--from an onlooker's perspective--as I've come to understand just how many things that science can tell us about the world, the history of topography, how the universe was formed even...fascinating. I realize it's a job, but hopefully you still find great interest in the subject.

Welcome aboard! It's always a heartening experience watching people recover from serious health issues simply by taking responsibility, and taking charge. I think you're going to do great.

Hey thanks Rick

Yep, petroleum business and have been since 1984. You are right about motivation. Pain and dicomfort go a long way towards getting your attention. I was able to put the fear aside for the time and now I am contected to a higher self like never before.

Welcome back James,

So sorry all the above happened... it was avoidable.

So, here is all you have to do... stay actively involved here at the forums... make it a habit so that it comes easily to you after a few months... and then stay actively involved in your post-cleansing thread here... ACTIVELY. and all the problems will be history soon, forever...

Right now I want you to follow the examples of Richard_D and not your wife's... that is what is going to bring YOU much much much better health.

Wishing you all the best. We all are here with you, for you!

Peace

James, you’ve got a good mind set now. I can tell you are going to do well. In a way your recent problem has been a blessing to bring you to this! :)

Welcome, welcome and welcome again!!!!

BUT, I want to get it right....

in your case now, it is not the support that is important... it is your participation.

When you participate in your health care as designed in this program, you don't recover, you grow... you grow healthier.

You can buy recovery maybe, but you cannot buy good health. You have to create it.

No intention here to be a party pooper, I just want to get it right this time around...

Tell me you hear me loud and clear.

Wishing you all the best.

Peace,

James_B

Thanks Joshua

Yes you are right about participating in my own health care. The foundation of alopathic medicine is that one would simply rely on someone else to save them without taking any responsibilities themselves.
My body is simply responding to what I have done and where I have been in the past, a natural response it seems. Been raw vegen now for over 10 days and feel quite a bit of relief. Perhaps a portent to what I need to be focusing on.

Dear James, it is just awesome to see you back and I can FEEL all the way down under the resolve you have!! Just super!! :):)

I changed my lifestyle to raw vegan almost four years ago. It changed my health so quickly and then about 2 1/2 months into that I found Jos-hua and the two are just hand in hand. I will be cleansing the rest of my life. When I stick to proper eating, and keep clean I am fantastic. My body tells me when I fall off the wagon so to speak. It is great to just listen to your body and to be responsible for it all!!

TAke care dear one, be PRESENT here in your mind, body and soul. It is an awesome journey and I could encourage you to set it in stone - all FOUR levels - this is not a once off fix, this is a univeristy, post grad level of teaching and learning and loving!!

We are all here with you,
love and kindness,
Maz

I'm not sure what you mean here James, is it that your focus should be raw vegan?

If so, you haven't got it yet brother, you just haven't gotten it yet... all you are doing is replacing one crutch with another... and I can guarantee you that going that route will both in the short and long term term create more difficulties and in the long term imbalances- both physically and mentally and emotionally... you are not anywhere ready yet to go an all vegan route. In fact, it would be very counter productive.

SO please, just follow the program... I guess I am being extremely pedantic here, but in your case, you leave me no choice... i let in the past four years ago do what you think is right and didn't impose on you to follow the program to the dot, but let you do what you wanted to do, how you wanted to do it and 4 years later we can see that was wrong... look where it got us.

So, I'll say it again, NO MORE CRUTCHES, NO MORE EXCUSES, NO MORE GAMBLING, NO MORE GUESSING on your part... please follow the program to the dot, pre-formal and post, progress levels and make it a point daily to be at the forums for 10 or 15 mintues each day, EVERY DAY. No excuses.

Second time, please tell me you hear me loud and clear.

Fact is, my time too is limited... those who follow the program see the results, and everyone of those people who didn't, who made variations to it along the way both in content, structure or procedure, not only don't they see results, BUT WORSE OF ALL, I need to be spending all my time and energy with them not progressing, just spending time to get them to follow the program, and that ultimately fills up the boards here with problems and negativity... all preventable if THEY JUST FOLLOWED THE PROGRAM STEP-BY-STEP. Doing so guarantees that you reap all the rewards that all of us who have followed the program have...

Wishing you all the best,

James_B

Thank you Maz

Sorry I have not been able to get to a computer yesterday. I would say that a long term goal would be to become vegan, we will see. My wife has been raw vegan for 2 years. This is something that I have thought about for a long time.

Yes Joushua I hear you loud and clear. Changing my diet in the last 2 to 3 weeks has just relieved me of tremendous discomfort and pain. Whether or not this will be what I do in the future remains to be seen. What is sure is that I did not do the right things in the past and I am paying for it now. I only hope that sometime between now and 24 months from now, that I have somehow continued the progam and am somewhat more happy with my changes and growth and my overall health.

Yes Joshua I hear you loud and clear. Quick fixes and crutches will not give me growth and change. Life is a learning process and pain is a part of that process, especially if we did not follow the correct path before when the opportunity was there. The opportunity is here now and I will be a part of this program god willing, for years and years to come. For all my life.

Good. Thanks!

It's not a program for a lifetime, you'll get way beyond that... as habits, knowledge, and perceptions change, you change... and with your hands-on experiences and self-motivating results, you'll find yourself with new habits, and with new habits replacing old habits, good health for a lifetime will replace bad health, WITHOUT thinking too much about it, without any anxiety or worries and without the heavy financial burden most americans carry with regards to their health. :D

Wishing you all the best... at this stage follow the program to the dot.

Hi James,
I have only just started on the cleansing journey. I admire your courage in that you came back and admitted your failure. But you came back to where you knew you would have the best chance of success. I wish you success this time around.
Blessings,
June.

Hi James,

I am just starting out on this venture and can certainly identify with your falling off track.

It is so easy to revert to old behavior when things seem to be going well ... I often wonder why that is ... lol

Anyway the important thing is you knew where you had to be when the chips were down ... so welcome back to sanity :)
