Well, here I am actually doing this. Im a student of Speech Pathology at Cal State Sacramento. Ive been interested in nutrition and natural medicine for the longest time. But as many hypocrites, I dont do as I read. I was surfing around one night and found HPS and read through the entire site. I was amazed, disgusted and interested all at once. The main concern was sticking something in my rear which was something Ive never done. Then there was those photos! Those were nasty! I've read about mucus encrustations and impactions before but never saw the photos. I was convinced both with Jos' enthusiasm and my literary knowledge of fasting that something had to be done about ME.

The price made me rock back on my heels, but after reading various testimonials, everyone said that is worth it. And Im looking foward to say the same thing. As a student, my funds are limited, but I thought to myself, "If I can create for myself a healthy lifestyle and do this cleanse, this is WISDOM that will be with me forever-- and it could very well save my life." And what I want is NOT a quick-fix (for there are NO such things) but rather something I can build on and derive a lifestyle from. I consider this a fair goal for myself.

I am not new to GI problems, so let me give you some of my pertinent (sw?) history. I was born with Morgani/Diaphragmatic hernia. Simply put, I hat a hole in my diaphragm that did shut. All my guts were in my chest cavity, literally GANGEGREEN. At 2 years, surgery was undertaken and they had to carve my side open and remove the guts and clean the gangegreen off of them. Ive been fine since. However in 1995 I acquired Irritable Bowel Syndrome; plagued by diarrhea and awful gas followed by ulcers. With a combination of perscription meds, fiber supplements and that vile upper GI, I was cured from that- so far.

In between and now, I suffer from chronic sinusitis. Ive had surgery twice on my sinus. After all of the surgery to remove polyps and what not, Ive been convinced that my problems are from allergies and nothing more. My left nasal passage is block abour 90% of the day and few things have helped. Im hoping that this cleanse, combined with the fasting and knowledge of food combination will soothe these conditions.

Im beginning my senior year in college and Ive got a lot on my shoulders this semester. Im converting to judaism to marry my girlfriend so that will be a great intellectual stride on top of my present hermetic and scholastic studies. My girlfriend think Im paying way TOO much for this 7DW; however if anyone could benefit from this, it would certainly be her. She has had IBS with constipation all her life and has a hard time losing weight (shes only 20).
Im no doctor but Im sure it has to do with her colon. She takes Zelnorm and at one time became dependent on laxatives-- something which frightened me.

I hope this has given you some decent information about myself. I look foward to working with all of you and getting to know you. In the meantime, Im going to look around at some intro posts. Good luck and God Bless!

Yes, lots of good information... we welcome you to our community. Follow the program to the dot and you will enjoy a long life of good health and happiness. Period.

Re your girlfriend, let her know prices for the lev 1 cleanse are rising soon to $889 and I still think it is too cheap!!!! :p

Anyway, even though I am not your girlfriend and even though I always say don't have faith in the program, but rather practice it and see for yourself what happens, I will say here trust me, you are well ahead of her both as regards your understanding and your actions... and when those two are combined, wisdom and skillfulness, well, things usually are great.

I wish for you a great life... do this program and see for yourself... and make sure to read the intro's, pre-cleansing, formal cleansing, post-cleansing and testimonial posts from level 3'ers, 4'ers and master fasters... they will confirm everything I wrote above.

Peace bro, enjoy your visits here... remember, we are a community creating, and that means you too need to become a part of the creation... by being here often for yourself and for others, you create good health for yourself. You participate daily in your health care, and that is what brings about sustainability and more happiness with your life, your body and your emotions.

Hey Justin,

Welcome from a former valley boy. I grew up in the southern end of the valley in Bakersfield.

You've come to the right place to address your colon issues. This is a wonderful program and I know you are going to enjoy the process and the knowledge that is about to be aquired from the great information to come your way...

May I suggest getting a binder and print all the NW info for future reference.. I'm constantly refering back to mine, so I'm glad I did this..

Sit back and enjoy and hope your are doing OK with the heat right now...

Hi Justin, and welcome.

I'd say you've had quite a journey just finding your way here. You've had a number of health issues thrust upon your consciousness that most people have never given a thought to, despite the fact that many of them are already slowly falling prey to the steady stream of misinformation and poor habits. It's a mind-bendingly weird twist that had you not had so much trouble with your GI tract from your early years, you likely would have lived in "normal" health, and actually ended up with a much worse problem than those you'll be addressing here.

Congratulations also on your impending graduation, wedding, and admittance into a new faith. It looks very much as though life is beginning anew for you all across the spectrum.

Rick

Hello Justin

You are making one of the most important steps in your life and a step toward lifelong health. All disease begins in the colon. All solutions to these disease also begin in the colon. It is great you are making this step now. Spiritual growth and knowledge are key. You will have more support and help here than you could ever imagine.

Just remember that one fast and one cleanse in my opinion should be a first step. You need to stay involved beyond your cleanse and tell everyone about your results and progress. My goal is to regain some good amount of health over the next 6 to 24 months. Just work the progam and you will stay focused and you will be amazed at the results.

God Bless

Hello All,

I want to thank everyone for their warm welcome and continued positive attitude which is such an integral part of this program. Im moving out next wednesday to Sacramento-- looking foward to some peace and quiet by myself for a couple weeks!

In Light,
Justin
