I am a married woman, mother of 3 little girls. Their ages are 6 years old, 2 years old and 7 months old.
For most part of my life, I have been physically active. I would go to the gym 3 to 5 times a week and would try to keep a healthy diet at the same time. The funny thing is that even though I was eating healthy and working out regularly, I still had problems with bowel movements. I suffer from constipation and it gets really bad at times. Now I barely have time to sit down with three kids but want to start disciplining my body to working out and eating healthy again. I want to start by cleaning out my insides.
Two years ago, a friend of my husband went on a retreat for a cleansing and he said that it completely changed his life. He was amazed at how great he was feeling and a lot of problems that he suffered from before (such as stress, anxiety, headaches, just to name a few) had vanished. He opened my eyes to something new and I thought, I have to do this. The spa he went to is located in California and its quite a popular place but can be very expensive. I was really tempted to go but I wanted my husband to go with me and the cost was just too much for us at the time.
Instead my husband did a search online and came across HPS and told me all about it. I was not able to do this 2 years ago because since then I was pregnant and then breastfeeding my two younger children. I wrote to Joshua of my interests to cleanse and my condition but he told me to wait until I finished breastfeeding my baby and then come back. Now I am ready to take this big step and look forward to feeling this great feeling of wellness all around. I am very excited to be participating in something that is going to affect my health in a positive way for the rest of my life.

Welcome Maria,
You are definitely on the right path towards better health. I too used to work out all the time and considered myself to be a fairly healthy person. I didn't smoke, drank occasionally, and ate somewhat healthy, yet I suffered from horrible constipation, relentless fatigue, and acne. It never made sense to me until I discovered this website. I can testify that the quality of my life has changed dramatically from completing my first 2 cleanses, and yours will too!
You are giving yourself the most wonderful gift of all, and your newfound health will also have an impact on the lives of your husband and children. You could say it is a gift that keeps on giving. I wish you the best with your first cleanse and know that we are all here to help you at anytime.
love, Melody.

Maria,
Welcome to the group & to your cleanse. Great for you to be doing this now just after finishing up the nursing of the little one. And to be 31 wow -- what a blessing for you and your whole family. To have a supportive husband in this is a great bonus.
This is going to be great for you. I wish I had found this place after my Saturn return. This is a perfect time in the progress of you life. Just after such a major transformation to clear your body of toxins and the past is perfect. So I look forward to watching you progress with your efforts in the weeks and months to come.
Blessings,

Hi Maria:
This will be a wonderful experience for you, lots of changes, lots of learning, many surprises.
It's exciting to see people coming on board that want CHANGE and are willing to take charge of their own bodies in the pursuit of vibrant health and life.
Your husband will see a new woman and you will be a beautiful example and teacher for your children - many will probably notice the difference, and especially you will know yourself better.
Many of us are here for you, to support you in your effort and growth. You will surely find this to be a very valuable journey.
Best wishes,
Claudette

Hi Maria,
I, too, learned about colon cleansing in my 30's. There was not a site such as this back then. It seemed to me that colon cleansing back when I learned about it 12 years ago was such an underground movement:p . I'm glad that there is a place such as this that people can come and support one another to good health.
How great that you found this site and have had the dedication to come back and follow through after you finished weaning your baby.
Looking forward to your cleansing experience.
Love,
Tisha

Its amazing how much love and encouragement I am feeling right now. Thank you all for your kind words of experience and wisdom. I want and need a change in my life and I am feeling that this is definitely a right start for me and the right decision. This step is especially important to me because I have a sister who is currently battling breast cancer. I need to start taking charge of my health before it's too late. I don't know if it's too late for my sister to participate in a cleansing program. I would love some insight from someone who might know. I understand that it is great to take preventative care but is there help for someone that is already ill?

Hi Maria,
Welcome to the cleansing group. Wow a family of three at 31, you lucky girl!
This Level 1 cleanse will make a big difference to your bowel movements and although I too suffer from constipation mine's a more complex problem - that being said my bowel was working much much better until my body told me it was time for Level 2.
Originally I saw no way of progressing to Level 2 this year with all the stuff I have on but your health is the most important thing and we're the only ones responsible for it.
I'm delighted for you that you have taken this step.
I look forward to your posts.
Love Niamh ;)

Maria,
Welcome to the group. You are giving you and your family a wonderful gift that will benefit you beyond belief. I know you feel very blessed with your children and your husband. I'm sure you are feeling the pain of what your sister is experiencing as well. There is no way to know what the future will bring, but taking responsbility for your health and wellbeing is certainly a great first step for making positive changes in your life.
Looking forward to your experience and will gladly help in whatever way I can.

Hi Maria,
Welcome to the group. I think it is wonderful that you can expose your family to the healthier way of life that you will learn about in this program.
My constipation disappeared during the precleanse - just from changing my diet, and I have continued to have positive changes.
I look forward to reading your posts.

Hi Maria,
Welcome! It shows such comittment that you have kept this in mind for the past 2 years. That commitment to your health will make it that much easier to adopt some of the changes required to enhance your health and alleviate the constipation. Wishing you the best as you begin.
Cheers, Tina_A

Maria,
I do believe that there is hope for someone battling breast cancer or any or ill that the body has.
I would suggest that your sis find someone where she lives who is familiar with alternatives to supervise her if she chooses to go the alternative path.
I would have her search on the internet for those who have been "cured" from illness through alternatives to show her that it can be done and let her see what her options are.
I have not experienced breast cancer, so maybe I should not advise, but I do believe in the bodies ability to heal given the right conditions.
Love,
Tisha

Maria, Welcome! What a good idea to get into the program with little children. Now you can learn how to support healthy children as you reaise them. I hope you get the good health benefits you're seeking. Sincerely, Kay
