Hi everyone. It's only been a few months since I finished my Level 4 cleanse, and in that time I've managed to keep a pretty solid momentum up regarding eating what I should, and if not doing everything I ought to be, at least not doing so many things that I shouldn't. My discipline is starting to crack a little bit though, in the last couple of weeks. Having gotten some very timely advice from Jos-hua, I've decided to take the next step now, before I slow down any more.
I have a few ongoing issues, not what you'd classify medical conditions per se, but still unarguably health concerns. I made some reference to swollen lymph nodes in my neck, including a couple of hardened ones. I don't know now if the hard little things I feel on either side of my throat are/were lymph nodes, but I have a couple of soft puffy ones, the ones on the back of my neck are up a little bit and have been for years, and my salivary glands are slightly enlarged as well, although those at least appear to be much smaller than before.
Anyway this was one of the original concerns that got me into fasting in the first place; or at least it was an early concern I had hoped to address, meaning eventually to heal. Over the course of my first 4 HPS cleanses, I've had a number of improvements, better skin, better breathing, clearer eyes, many emotional/maturity developments, etc., but it's clear to me that I'm just now getting to a point at which I can really grab the bull by the horns and begin a new cycle of much more frequent cleanses, with a far greater level of discipline during the pre- and post-cleansing stages. I feel now capable of making a much deeper commitment to my health than I ever anticipated when I first filled out the HPS Level 1 order form way back whenever that was.
Well, that's a bried sketch of where I'm at right now. I don't really know what else to say at the moment, just wanted to get myself on the record in the intros, and get on with the next step. I'll have a pre-cleanse up in a day or two, and with any luck I'll have a bit more focus writing it.

Hi Rick,
Great to see you moving right into your next cleanse. Your level 4 was a real forum highlighter, and if anyone missed it, they might want to check it out. Hope you get a good handle on the lymph thing. Definitely something you want to stay focused on. Best wishes.

Rick,
Can almost feel your momentum already! It is encouraging to see you pressing on to address issues that still remain even though you are at the Master level. Unlike the regular academic world, achieving the top rank here at HPS doesn't mean you've arrived and can now parade around with your title and privileges. It means you have tools to continue the journey and delve even deeper into the changes that are needed in your particular situation. Quite a mindset to walk in, I would say. Thanks for modeling the journey and the practice. Will be watching for your posts.

Dear Rick,
When you started out on this path, and I posted the below message to you in a different form, you heeded to it... and now, you are here, a master faster in your own right, about to jump deeper with as you mentioned in your pre-cleansing thread, with a labor of love, into the cleansing and rejuvenation journey... Congrats friend.
Thanks for being a big part of our HPS Cleansing community. You have brought a lot here to us and contributed to our existence in a very worthy manner, with lots of loving kindness and compassion. Thanks! We have gained from your practices.
I want to wish you all the best Richard, and want to point out to newcomers at our community reading your intro today, please do as Rick did, the proof is in the pudding, HE HEEDED TO THIS MESSAGE that
I post on intro's of level 1 cleansers, and that is why
he is here today posting
his Master Faster Intro-->
===============
Now that I and a few other HPS cleansers have personally welcomed you into our community with open hearts, I want to say again what I have said to other cleansers here before in their intro's.
You can 100% totally recoup your health
You can 100% totally bring your health out of retirement.
You can 100% totally prevent old and new diseases, pains and aches from creeping up on you.
You can 100% meet the exact same results that I have from cleansing and that our advanced cleansers have. (You can read their testimonials one by one at your convenience when you like).
You can do all this under one condition... just as I have, just as they have, you HAVE TO STAY ENGAGED HERE in your post-cleansing. BTW, good health is not about levels of cleansing, it's about the degree of engagement.
ENGAGEMENT... get it into your mind right now. I'm screaming it so please listen... engagement.
If you don't stay engaged here you WILL NOT transform your health.
Most people don't really understand the importance of this, simply because, we have no training in behaving this way. Our culture of health care has been going to a doctors office, having a test done on us, taking a pill and that's it... this explains to you why that system doesn't and cannot work in the long run... no ENGAGEMENT. Just a quick fix visit... I hope this helps you understand the problem you personally face... no training, no experience in staying engaged, no past record, no personal guidelines developed on how to stay engaged effectively and quickly, so no engagement.
Everybody seems to stay engaged in their intro-pre-formal periods... that's easy, they are enthusiastic.
But few make it a point to stay ENGAGED in their post-cleansing... they think that they got it all and can move on... or maybe they are just busy and tired of participating here at the forums, so they don't... and I want to tell you that is the most counter productive thing you can do. It's a thousand times more counter productive than going out and feasting on chocolate cake or a Big Mac for example.
The post-cleansing period is when you need most to stay engaged...
THAT'S THE SECRET, staying engaged in your post-cleansing... if you do that, you'll win... if not, you won't... mark my words... all those people here who are doing phenomenal things with their health ALL took heed to this point, and all stay engaged during their post-cleansing.
Those that let it slip, slipped into oblivion, into frustration, into guilt, into running away and then feeling guilty and not coming back... SUCH FOOLISHNESS I say, especially since I am making here the effort to forewarn you and throughout your pre and formal cleansing will invest my time and energy to keep reminding you of this.
So again, I implore you to cognate this point... without it, you will end up wasting in the long-run your time, money and efforts in cleansing. Without it, you'll be right back at square one, it's only a question of time. You have been forewarned... I have made the effort, now it's up to you and the rest of us to make your engagement worthwhile, productive, fun and rewarding.
Wishing you all the best, I am here for you with you, before during and long after. Don't leave me standing with the broom staring at the walls. Don't leave me running after you... I used to do that in the past, but I don't anymore. I leave it to you. It's your responsibility, I've done my duty right here now by making this post. The rest is up to you.

Hi everyone, and thanks so much for the encouraging replies. Regarding the lymph thing, I may actually be experiencing some kind of very glacially-progressing healing crisis there: for almost a month I've had what I thought was a chest cold, with the sore throat and all, but really, except for needing more sleep than normal, I don't have any cold-like symptoms, no headaches, no sinus problems, sneezing, watery/red eyes, etc. Just a steady accumulation of mucus coming up from the throat, which can trigger uncomortable bouts of coughing trying to get the stuff up and out...I noticed a week ago that massaging the various nodes on my throat, pressing into them causes a sharp itching/tickling sensation that immediately has me coughing, like I'm almost pressing stuff out of them. Beats me. I get the feeling that things are moving there, though, and hopefully this cleanse will help it along all the better.
Ron, I especially wanted to reply to your comment. You got it exactly right: it isn't a status symbol or other ego gratification we pursue here, it's the tools and knowledge we need to truly begin the job, and once begun, to keep at it cheerfully, the while understanding that it's never done, never can be, nor would we wish it to be. Wonderful insight.
Jos-hua, all I can say is thanks for showing the way. I know we all have to walk our own path, and do our own work to get where we're going, but it's impossible to overstate the importance of guidance and companionship along the way. I know I don't just speak for myself here when I say that, without your support and wisdom, and the support of our fellow cleansers here, well, I wouldn't have any of the landmarks of the past 2 years to celebrate now.
I feel truly grateful and humble among such companions as yourselves. Anyone who has not taken it to heart yet, please pay special attention to Jos-hua's message, and stay engaged through your post-cleansing session. I lost track of that myself for a while, and it's no joke, the difference that level of engagement makes is crucial.
Anyway I already started my pre-cleanse yesterday, kind of sprung the thread in a surprise-attack fashion (but not deliberately, just had to get moving a little more quickly than I originally thought), so I'm about to head over there and catch that up too. Hope to see you all there.
Rick
