Hello my new family,

I'm a financial analyst because of my educational background - MBA in Finance, however this is not my passion. At 50+ I'm taking a certificate program in Naturopathy with the objective of practicing as a consultant in the (near) future. I don't know exactly where this path will take me, but I feel certain that the universe will be my guide.

I have no attachments in my life - not even a dog although I'd like to have one - but every thing will happen at the right time.

This cleansing is part of my journey to improve my health and my life. In recent years I've transitioned to eating only organic foods and about two years ago I stopped eating any flesh foods except for fish. Well, earlier this year I developed a rash on my arm which felt like goose bumps (it wasn't really perceptible) but my opinion was that my internal systems were not functioning properly and I was eliminating waste via the skin.

I went to an alternative doctor (also trained as a traditional doctor) who prescribed lots of vitamins and supplements and my skin condition improved and now my skin looks great. I also discovered (through testing) that I'm allergic to just about everything - white rice and white flour, wheat products, egg whites, soy, milk, dust, cat dander, certain trees. I had no idea I had these allergies. The funny thing is my immune system is really good - for e.g. while others around me get colds in the winter, I cannot recall the last time I had a cold.

Anyway, when I found this web site, I knew that this cleansing program was exactly what I needed. While the alternative doctor really helped, I've come to believe that if I stopped taking the supplements, the skin rash would appear again. I believe that HPS cleansing will help as a long term solution.

In peace,
Yvonne

Yes, you are right Yvonne, HPS cleansing will be a long term solution and a springboard to ascending better health. Welcome to our community of cleansers...the more you put into others here, the more you will receive back. you'll notice testimonials where almost nobody from this community commented on... that's basically because we found that those people put nothing into others, while others here did put a lot into them, into their pre-formal and post cleansing, so at the end of the day, they ended up staying alone with less and less support as they try to walk the path to better heatlh. I'm mentioning all this so that you don't make their mistakes.

Therefore stay active and you'll benefit. Use all the forums, not just those that meet your immediate needs. ;)

And you can rest assured, those so called allergies will disappear when your immune system is strong and healthy, when your internal organs are clean and balanced... the symptom aspect of bad declining sluggish health leads to a constant involvement with symptom care, but once you get healthier, you'll discover that you don't have any allergies... amazing to say the least.

Anyway, just some insights to keep you focused here.. enjoy the journey... it's a ride that everyone should be taking. :D

Peace, here with you, for you.

Welcome Yvonne,

First, I'd like to say congratulations on making such a big break with your occupation - good for you for following your heart :) And yes, just trust your instincts on this - and believe that this is the path that "you're supposed" to follow. It will be exciting to follow your progress :)

It sounds like you're already tuned into the cleansing journey - at least the beginning of it anyway. You've already made some incredible changes and strides over the past few years. Follow the protocol here to the letter, and I'm confident that you will achieve all of your health goals, and more :)

Hi, Yvonne. Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Your life path journey sounds awesome - what a wonderful gift to realize your heart's desire and persue it. Much love and light to your natural practice.

I want to echo the comments made by others here - the support of the group is incredible! They made a huge difference in the level of grace, ease, and enjoyment I experienced during the formal cleanse experience (I'm new too).

Can't wait to read your precleanse top 5 and see where the next level is for you.

Hi Yvonne,

Welcome to the wonderful world of HPS cleansing online. There is no better way to reach for the stars and live your dream than by being on the cleansing path as outlined in this program. It sounds like you have done great things already and it was somehow fate that you would be here. All of the things that you mention about naturopathy are discussed here in the forums and it will help you immensely. Curious about the allergy tests, how they were done, etc. Will look for more in your precleanse. Best wishes.

Hi Yvonne, and another welcome to the group. As others have pointed out, this will be a great proving ground for much of what you learn as you study naturopathy. Undoubtedly you'll learn a lot here that you couldn't have anywhere else. And allergy problems are exactly the kind of thing this program is designed to deal with.

As has been mentioned, the more group participation you put in, the more knowledge, wisdom, health and good cheer you'll have coming back to you. It really is an indispensable part of focusing your attention and motivation as you progress.

Welcome again!

Rick

Hi Yvonne,

Now that I and a few other HPS cleansers have personally welcomed you into our community with open hearts, I want to say again what I have said to other cleansers here before in their intro's.

You can 100% totally recoup your health

You can 100% totally bring your health out of retirement.

You can 100% totally prevent old and new diseases, pains and aches from creeping up on you.

You can 100% meet the exact same results that I have from cleansing and that our advanced cleansers have. (You can read their testimonials one by one at your convenience when you like).

You can do all this under one condition... just as I have, just as they have, you HAVE TO STAY ENGAGED HERE in your post-cleansing. BTW, good health is not about levels of cleansing, it's about the degree of engagement.

ENGAGEMENT... get it into your mind right now. I'm screaming it so please listen... engagement.

If you don't stay engaged here you WILL NOT transform your health.

Most people don't really understand the importance of this, simply because, we have no training in behaving this way. Our culture of health care has been going to a doctors office, having a test done on us, taking a pill and that's it... this explains to you why that system doesn't and cannot work in the long run... no ENGAGEMENT. Just a quick fix visit... I hope this helps you understand the problem you personally face... no training, no experience in staying engaged, no past record, no personal guidelines developed on how to stay engaged effectively and quickly, so no engagement.

Everybody seems to stay engaged in their intro-pre-formal periods... that's easy, they are enthusiastic.

But few make it a point to stay ENGAGED in their post-cleansing... they think that they got it all and can move on... or maybe they are just busy and tired of participating here at the forums, so they don't... and I want to tell you that is the most counter productive thing you can do. It's a thousand times more counter productive than going out and feasting on chocolate cake or a Big Mac for example.

The post-cleansing period is when you need most to stay engaged...

THAT'S THE SECRET, staying engaged in your post-cleansing... if you do that, you'll win... if not, you won't... mark my words... all those people here who are doing phenomenal things with their health ALL took heed to this point, and all stay engaged during their post-cleansing.

Those that let it slip, slipped into oblivion, into frustration, into guilt, into running away and then feeling guilty and not coming back... SUCH FOOLISHNESS I say, especially since I am making here the effort to forewarn you and throughout your pre and formal cleansing will invest my time and energy to keep reminding you of this.

So again, I implore you to cognate this point... without it, you will end up wasting in the long-run your time, money and efforts in cleansing. Without it, you'll be right back at square one, it's only a question of time. You have been forewarned... I have made the effort, now it's up to you and the rest of us to make your engagement worthwhile, productive, fun and rewarding.

Wishing you all the best, I am here for you with you, before during and long after. Don't leave me standing with the broom staring at the walls. Don't leave me running after you... I used to do that in the past, but I don't anymore. I leave it to you. It's your responsibility, I've done my duty right here now by making this post. The rest is up to you.

Peace,

Ronald_H

Yvonne,

Congratulations on your career decision. I am at the same point in my life as well and making the same type of decisions. HPS will definitely tie right in with your new course of study and likely expand your horizons even more.

Welcome aboard and join right in. The forum dynamic which Jos-hua emphasizes is very real. I know, because I am one who has learned the hard way about not staying engaged during the post-cleanse. Changing our way of thinking and behaving requires frequent attention. An occasional "lick and a promise" as my mother used to say, doesn't get the job done. Stay engaged here and you will see the changes you are wanting to achieve.

Ron

Hello my friends,

First of all I want to send a big hug to Jos-hua. I almost feel like saying, thanks "Pop" for your concern.

I know that we're "dating" right now. You're trying to understand me and I'm getting to know you also. You're wondering if I'm serious about this long term commitment and you don't know me enough to know that, I am TOTALLY committed to this program. It's my health and it is my responsibility. That is why I do NOT give the responsibility for my health to traditional doctors. Being healthy is an interactive relationship between the “experts” and I. I do understand that.

I'm not happy with my health and I want to improve it over time. It took me 53 years to get here and I know that my health problems cannot be eradicated in a week a month or even a year. Believe me, I know that.

Not that this is any way of excusing myself, but I do have a day job and I was away since Sunday on a business trip. Nonetheless I should have responded sooner - but I had to prepare the trip - it pays for the cleansing.

HPS has been foremost in my thoughts and I did have a chance over the past week to follow many of the threads and read many testimonials, pre-cleanse, during the cleansing period and post cleanse. I am really excited about this cleansing – I cannot wait for it to happen and I’ve realized that there are many benefits that HPS has to offer that are way beyond just a 7-day cleanse.

Believe me, I'm already thinking about the third and fourth level cleansing programs and I haven't even received any material or done the first cleanse as yet! I'm thinking about all the parasites in my body and ridding my body of them. In fact I read about parasites on someone’s thread – and I apologize – I’ve read the threads of all of you that welcomed me and it’s all a jumble right now because I wanted to post this ASAP.

For all of you that have been kind enough to welcome me to HPS, I really, really appreciate you good wishes and I promise that I will be more personal in my responses in the future- please give me a little time to assimilate all your threads so that I can offer meaningful support.

By way of clarification, I still have a day job - my pursuit of the Naturopathy program is in my spare time (I've neglected that over the past week also). But I hope to change careers in the future when I've completed the program.

I'm still trying to find my way around the HPS - I've tried to use the quote icon but was unsuccessful (I'll probably ask one of you to explain it to me in a private message).

In peace,
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne!

Welcome to the starting place- I am just a little ahead of you in this wonderful line that leads to the positive changes in your health and your spirit. It is so nice to see you considering something to do with your life that has you waking up with passion. It is SO hard to let go of early investments of time and money - even when you know they are not a good fit... and change is always a little scarey.

Since I am like a week ahead of you, we are almost in the same graduating class - the class of "level 1". And like yourself- I plan on graduating from many levels.

Take care-
seena

Hi Yvonne,

You have arrived!
Well maybe its better spoken to say you were catapulted unexpectedly into the best health program on the planet.
Do I sound enthusiastic? ... I am :)

Each day gets better ... interesting thing about this program ... as you navigate the learning curve you simply know better is on the other end.

I have had more fun with this new family and am certain you will too.

So welcome! ;)

Hi Yvonne,

I noticed that you are already moving around the forums and participating in others threads, and that's great to see... I'm glad you already feel comfortable in our community.

You know, as I read your comments throughout others threads, especially at the testimonial forums, I keep seeing the same comment, so I wanted to clarify it here for you.

You keep saying something along the lines of "wow, i'm so inspired to read that CLEANSING can bring these types of results"

You keep using the word cleansing as if it is some generic term... it's not... what you should be aware of, or should be saying, is that 'HPS cleansing' can bring these types of resutls...

There are unlimited ways to call something a cleanse and many do... stick a detox pad on your skin and cleanse, drink 3 times a day lemon juice and you are cleansing, take these pills and you are cleansing.

None of that is cleansing, that's just quick fixes, fake and fraudulent, and then they write up fake testimonials, of the same nature, that the real testimonials you are reading here from real people, from your cleansing buddies, have.

everyone here is doing great because of their efforts, my efforts. I have put into each cleanser all I have, both in time, energy, love and wisdom... this type of cleansing that we are doing here at HPS, a continuous daily journey is not cleansing, BUT RATHER HPS CLEANSING... and I think it is important that the general public realizes this... from all your posts at all the testimonial threads and in other forums, one could get the idea, yea, cleansing, yea I'll do it, give me a free manual and 15 dollars of pills and I'll get the same thing. They won't.

So please note again, everyday, all the steps, and what is going into your cleansing so that you can meet success... even this post, it has to do with raising your awareness, and that isn't happening at other so-called cleaning places.

Peace sister... maybe I'm just overly sensitive (:D , yes, I am ;) ) but nonetheless I want to raise your sensitivity too. There is a lot of giving, and loving going on here, and without that, cleansing is just mechanics which leads nowhere in the long run.

Love and light,

Yvonne_B

Joshua, my apologies to you and anyone else that I have offended. Believe me we’re of the same mind in terms of the difference between HPS cleansing and other types of cleansing. I’ll even go out on the limb and say that I might have a better than average appreciation of the holistic benefits to be derived from the HPS cleansing format even though I’m a newbie. But thanks so much for the feed back - I certainly appreciate all the support I’ve received from you Jos-hua and all my HPS friends. We newbies all have to go through a learning curve – some steeper than others :) . I fully intend to remain engaged for the foreseeable future and my comments should be a pleasing to everyone, so friends, I welcome all your feedback. We all have a common goal.

And for the record I just want to say that I’m truly inspired each time I read a testimonial – it’s not meant to be a cookie cutter response – it’s real. It’s like watching the July 4th fireworks in NYC – I say “wow” every time they shoot off the fireworks – I never tire of the splendor. Likewise for the testimonials and other threads, each story is different and each one is simply awesome to me, deserving of a “WOW” every time!

Yvonne,

I can relate to you, as we are almost the same age with some similar symptoms. I feel dumb :( that although I figured out many years ago that I don't assimilate fats well--instead they make a beeline for my skin--so obviously my intestines aren't doing their job well, yet I did so little to try to fix the problem.

Why didn't I do thorough colon cleanses before? I don't know. But I believe that I--we--are doing the right thing now! We can do it!

Yvonne-B,

As a newcomer I also find welcome in this group. I think the experience of the HPS will settle things properly down a bit for any of us. Let's hope the program is as good as everybody seem to share that it is. We also cannot picture in advance what it will be like. Probably it will be better even or different at least from our expectations. I hope so. I hope I have something in stall that I cannot imagine. I so much yearn to get out of my present state and mood of body and mind. It has lasted a bit too long.

Good luck to you.

Jaigi_T. ;)

Hello all,

Gary, yeah I don't assimilate fats well either. What kind of skin problems do you have? In addition to the skin rashes I mentioned, I think that fat is also deposited to the leg area as cellulite - I'll be watching to see if my skin gets smoother as well.

I totally agree that HPScleanse is the way to go. I'm already dreaming of doing the parasite cleanse -and I think that is probably a Level 3 or higher program.

Jaigi_T - you and me both. I'm really excited about going through the formal cleanse and I'm also glad that HPS is a program that offers continued improvements over time. I'm also expecting that benefits will emerge not just on the physical level, but also on the emotional and spiritual side as well.

Seena, yes, passion is a lifetime quest for me - I'm still looking for it, but once I clear all this gunk from inside me, I believe other aspects of my life will become clearer as well. Thanks for your observarions. Yes, we'll be in the same graduating class.

Ronald_H, and Kevin_S, Richard_D, Adrian_S same sentiments to you in recognizing the career change as a big step for me and that this will be a proving ground for me as I progress in my study in naturopathy.

Dawn_S you've been special to me so far in many ways and I love your inspiration and cheerfulness.

Linda_P thanks for your encouragement. While you are fairly new to HPS, your quest is commendable as well. I hope your husband will be impressed with your improvement and will follow your footsteps as well.

Stephen_C, you were my first post and made me feel welcome to HPS. Thanks.

Martin_J. you'd asked about allergy testing. It was a 2-step process. The first part determined the things to which I was allergic - I believe it was a blood, urine or saliva test. The test result was a rating score sheet divided into three sections - food, dust & mold and trees. The follow up test focused on the highest scores where provocative neutralization (PN) was applied. PN is a process of placing a small amount of the allergen under the top layer of the skin of the upper arm. If there was a sensitivity, the dosage is increased until most of the symptoms clear. This is called the neutralizing dose. The neutralizing dose has to be taken for 12 - 18 months until the desensitizing process is completed. The main difference from typical allergy testing is that one item is tested at a time, rather than several and symptoms are provoked and then cleared.

Jos-hua, the HPS cleansing program is incredible and has been very thoughtfully prepared. I look forward to my first formal cleanse with HPS.
