Hello Hps cleansers and anyone else who may stop by and read. My last cleanse was my level 4 in August and I feel it was the most profound one to date. I have enjoyed very good health and am very blessed to wake each day and do a job that I enjoy pain free. My initial draw to Hps was a strange constipation dilemma. Food would go in but I felt no movement for it to go out. Funny thing was I was losing weight as it was happening. My appearance put a fright into everyone I know and I put my full trust into Jos-hua's program for recovery from this. Although I don't think I overly taxed Jos-hua's time with private emails, I did correspond whenever I felt the absolute need for his guidance and he always came through with prompt replies, always reassuring and caring. I have saved all of those correspondences and look back on them with a smile as it shows how I have evolved to this point in time. I would sometimes have to slap my head and say, "what the heck am I doing, being involved with a cleansing program online and talking to people via email and discussion forums? Am I nuts or what? and couldn't I be going some other route?" Well, not when the information, the reading, and the learning is this good, the support so strong, and the opportunity to do something extraordinary is so great. I think that the concept of cleansing and fasting is so great that you have to try it. You have to do it if you are really concerned about your health.

The naturopath that I see has diagnosed me with having yeast overgrowth in the intestines, aka candida. I suspected the same during my level two, but it was a self diagnosis via a questionaire and a saliva test. I had a healing crisis of sorts at the time, a week long bout with diarrhea, and I suppose that the two cleanses to that point plus some supplements began the process of recovery. I might have had more success sooner, but I faced the an incredible wall of interference on the part of family and friends acting out of "concern" for my welfare that I see a doctor, and drop the fasting and cleansing. I am still not sure what there is to argue with. Allergies that are gone. Morning headaches that are gone. A lower back that feels like new. Gums that don't bleed. A diet of fresh food instead of the plethora of processed junk that is considered "normal" food around here. Things have settled down now, thankfully, and everyday is a blessing to behold.

I intend to make this a "mini-cleanse" the week before Thanksgiving. We'll do a two week precleanse that will address the candida in a big way. I feel I need this as there is still a lot of emotional attachments to foods that are not so healthy. I'll do a full 7 day-er after the new year. Here's to your cleansing success!

And here is to your continuing success and growth Marty!

May all the blessing of taking personal responsibility for your own well being be bestowed upon you. You have done/ are doing well. I rejoice in your rejoicing.

I too remember those emails, and I too kept a few. :p
I did so because I knew when reading them, that a year or two later, if you saw them again, you would laugh at where you were and how 'caught up' in the confusion you were... now i see I can delete them from my folder, since i see here that you kept them and did what i was going to suggest you do...that being rereading them and enjoying the progress you have made since then.

Lovely intro... i assume you are going to be doing only water now this time around... is that correct? i assume that as you are working on the candida issue juicing won't be the way to approach your cleansing now... that part of the program you have progressed though and the foundations have been built, so go for the water only.

I dropped you a post at the 'private' master faster (PMF) forum on this subject... please do check it out at your convenience.

Looking forward to your upcoming pre and formal... So nice to see a few master fasters doing thier cleansing at the same time... makes me want to jump in too and start another 7 dayer... well, i'll have to give it some thought, just finished my last one two months ago and am getting ready to go to india in two weeks time, so i just don't know if 'll have enough time... well, lets see. At any rate, if not this time around, I'm sure we are going to have many opportunities in the coming year and years. :D

Peace brother.
Wishing you all the best healing, rejuvenation and continual growth.

Martin,

Excellent to see you back for your Master #1. It's been remarkable to witness how far you've come in such a short time. I'm very interested to see how things unfold as you take on the Candida growth...I've heard form quite a number of people who have problems with it, but never really heard much useful about combatting it.

Anyway, you've been an inspiration for all of us so far, and I have no doubt this upcoming month is going to be another important lesson for all of us.

Thanksgiving, indeed.

Rick

Hey Marty,

Good luck in combating your candida. I don't know any treatment (never bothered with medical stuff to be honest, that's why I'm so ignorant) - but probably living the HPS way is the best cure.

I'm looking forward to your progress -

Hi Martin,

Good luck in getting a handle on the candida ... knowing for sure that is what you have should give you an edge.

I will be interested in what you observe as you rid yourself of this little problem.

Its nice to read all has settled down on the home support front.

Love and light,
Linda

Hi Martin,

I'm new here and really appreciated what you said in your intro. Sometimes I feel a little strange spending so much time on the computer talking to all these people I don't even know--like gee, lady get a life. But then I remember that I am trying to get a life (a healthier, more robust one) and frankly my friends don't want to try anything new, or my family, so... on-line support it is!

It helps me to read from people stuggling with the same issues, your courage and confidence to continue on the route that makes the most sense to you is encouraging to me-- especially since you've already achieved so much as a Master Faster. Thanks!

Love and Light,
Sharley

I love your sense of humor, Marty :) You always say things in such a directly charming way.

Bravo and good for you for not letting the people in your life run your life - I admire so much the way you stand in your integrity and own your power, take responsibility for yourself, and still find it in your heart to extend your loving and compassion to others. If that's what being a Master Faster looks like, then Level 2 here I come!

Much love and support to you on the Thanksgiving fast. I look forward to following your cleanse.

Thank you for blazing the trail yet again!
XOXOXO

Marty,

Good going. The way you're going, you'll have the candida beaten off soon, like Louise have. Precleanse is fun, isn't it.

I have started my pre-cleanse diet too. The taste of simple brown rice, stir fried vege with little sea salt and broccoli soup now feels like the comfort food we grow up with. Such a gratifying home-coming feeling. I'm aiming to have a cleanse too in a couple of weeks. Great to see old timers are synchronised this way and all converging on a cleanse around this time.

Your cleanse are always fruitful because of your dedication. I'll follow it with great interest.

Marty,

I learned something new today - I didn't know that yeast overgrowth in the intestines is also refered to as candida. I look forward to following your progress. You seem to have accomplished much improvement in your health through HPS! Great!
