Greetings!
My apologies for not posting correctly previously. It seems like there is a lot to remember, but I am determined to get a handle on it, so thanks for your patience!
Brief bio:
Happily married for 18 years
3 Great kids (Son15, Daughter9, Son7)
Enjoy relatively good health, but middle age is coming on, and I can see that I have some bad eating patterns that need to be dealt with. The idea of cleaning the inside of my body as well as I do the outside makes perfect sense, and I'm eager to begin the journey to better health!
I was priviledged to grow up in a large Dairy-farming family. We learned by necessity to grow our own food, not realizing at the time how much better off we were for doing so! We seldom experienced the "luxury" of processed foods, and I think we viewed ourselves as "underprivileged" for not having had all that junk!
What we lacked for money, we made up for in family love & good times.
It's funny, the older we grow the more we realize we've been blessed!
But, I'm afraid we've fallen prey to the crunch of busyness, with our growing family & extra activities they bring. It's been easy to resort to quick meals, unwholesome snacks & I can see our health and energy going down the drain.
Now's the time to take the poor-eating problem "by the horns" and deal with it, before sickness & disease settles in.
I'm still big on growing our own food. We do a huge garden, have fruit trees & raise our own meat. I'm eager to learn better ways of organic gardening - it's always a struggle with bugs and a very short growing season.
But, my current focus is on my getting through level#1 cleanse successfully & hopefully my husband will follow suit.

Dear Judy:
Welcome to the group! You will like getting to know your body better and there is much to learn.
I envy you the opportunity to eat more "organic", it will make the process so pleasant.
Good luck,
Claudette

Welcome to our community Judy... lucky you to have had the conditions to grow your own food for so many years, esepecially when you were young! That's food with love. Very lucky indeed.
Please follow the program and I anticipate that you will find benefit, like so many of your friends have.
Wishing you all the best.
peace

Judy,
Good job in finding this site and taking charge of your health. You will for sure be a good role model for your family. Welcome to the group - I'm sure you'll find your cleanse to be rewarding in many ways as I did and am.
As for all the information you are recieving now while getting started and learning about how to post etc. . . Please don't give up even though you may become frustrated. I found the set up to be overwhelming as sooo much information and new ideas are happening for you. Hanging in there through the process is rewarding and self- informing!!
When will you start your pre-cleanse and formal cleanse? Let us know.
Your friend,
Michelle_M

Hi Judy,
Welcome to the group. We are getting quite a group here in this area. I read your post and then went back and looked at where you were from and figured out it was you. I know you have seen the changes in Pat since she started cleansing and how encouraging that is. I know that cleansing has helped me a lot too and well as the side benifits Robin is haveing.
I will be watching your posts. Best wishes as you cleans.
Love

Yeh Judy!!
Cheering for you here on the cold, cold coast of Maine!
I'm glad to see your post here this morning. Congratulations on making your first post. It will become easier and easier as you forge ahead on your cleansing journey. The learning curve can seem daunting in the beginning. I remember.
I continue to think of you often and I'm here if you need help...just ask.
God bless your efforts as you ascend toward vibrant health,
Pat
Congratulations Judy,
Welcome to HPS for cleansing,
I was looking over Pat's shoulder as she was checking her posts, saw your post and decided to welcome you to the friendly cleansing family. You will find that things will fall into place easily and the results will be exciting. I know when I did my cleanse it seemed daunting at first, but I at least had Pat's experience to lean on and learn from. Hang in there and you will not be disappointed.
I look forward also to reading your posts.
God Bless,
Ed

Judy,
Glad you could join us. This is a great journey for you. Growing up on a farm is a great experience. You have a wealth of knowledge that you will transform into something wonderful for yourself and your family. It is great that you care enough about yourself to show up here and do this cleanse.
So I look forward to supporting you as you progress thru the days ahead.
Blessings,

Welcome Judy,
I am 43 as well and completed the level 1 in December. I am sure you will also find it to be the thing to get you and your family back on track.
It all seems very overwhelming at first, but you will be surprised to find how quickly it falls into place, and finally is done.
I found it very helpful to print out all the netwonder messages and go through them several times with a colored highlighters. I used one color for pre-cleanse info, one for the formal info, and one for post-cleansing. There is a lot of information scattered throughout those messages.
Be sure to ask any questions you have, that is one of the great benefits of this community.
Good luck and best wishes.
Love and light,

Hi Judy,
I'm from the 43 year old club, too, at least until April. I guess we are just not satisfied to settle for tired and achey just because we have hit that 40 mark.
Welcome to the group. I think it is great that you grow so much of your own food. I just bought a book a few months ago called the Four Season Garden, I think. It is about building a greenhouse so that you can grow things year round. It was written by a guy that lives in Maine. In Oklahoma it gets sooo hot in the summer, that by July, I almost don't care what is in the garden. It is just tooo hot unless you get out early or late. That is why I am thinking of building a greenhouse.
I like your attitude about taking the "bull by the horns". You will be so amazed at what discoveries you make about your body and what is truly healthy during your level 1. This is a step in the right direction.
Love,
Tisha

Hi, Judy
There's a saying I tell people when I start doing sheetrock work on their house--"You can't change a plan unless you have a plan to change." So, take a piece paper and plan out the day--time for the board, juices, pills, and the rest of your daily activities. But if things change, go with it. Don't become frustated that you didn't get than last juice in--just do the best you can.
Get a three-ring binder and print out all messages received from HPS. Take a three by five card and write down the numer of pills you are to take on certain days. It saves having to go to the computer or your printouts and try to find that page--Or (change of plan!!) earmark those pages so that you can find them quickly.
Make sure the first day of your formal cleanse is as free as you can make it of other things. Do a dry run (no pun intended) of setting up the board before having to do it for real.
I'm saying these things, not because we are so smart, but so that you may benefit from our mistakes.
We look forward following you through the process and actually seeing the results.

Thanks for all the encouragment!!
I really appreciate the advice & "cheers" for this big step I'm taking. It's good to know I'm not alone & things will get easier as we go along.
You all are great.
Blessings to you!

Hi Judy,
Welcome to the group.
I grew up on a farm, too. There is nothing quite like going to the garden and gathering dinner. I miss the large supply of fresh vegetables. I enjoyed it so much, I don't feel complete unless I can have a small garden of my own, even though I live in a residential area.
I look forward to reading your posts.
