Hey guys, I totally forgot about writing my testimonial and I'm almost ready for level 2, but better late than never. I could go on and on about the benefits of cleansing, but anyone that has a head on their shoulders and has seen some pictures of mucoid plaque can realize that this junk should NOT be inside of you. Quickly though, I got a bunch of that out, my tastes changed a little bit and continue to do so, I lost weight and mostly it set a stage for me to change my diet permanently. In the past I would try to change what I eat, fail, and just continute eating the garbage. This time, and believe my I've made a hundred mistakes already, but every time I do, EVERY time, I try again, I go back to attempting to eat the wholesome food. No matter how many mistakes I make, I keep trying.

The main point of this testimonial though is in comparing the cleanses I've done in the past with HPS online. Notice I say "HPS online" instead of "this cleanse". This isn't a cleanse or a cleansing program but a community, but more on that in a bit. In the past I've done a program of cleansing with water fasting, herbs and colenemas. I did it for 5 days and then gave up and ate some greasy food. This was about 3 years ago. Then recently I did the lemonade diet which was decent, but I tried to do it for 10 like they recomend but I ate food on day 8.

Let me make a quick note on the lemonade cleanse as it's a decent fast to try, but it's not a cleanse IMO. It doesn't really break up the plaque and get it out. Now there is much more to cleansing than mucoid plaque, but with it there, you can't get any real cellular cleansing done as the body will just re-autotoxify itself again from the plaque.

Now back to the main point, the main point is that HPS online is a community and that is the exact reason why this cleanse was a success and my other 2 cleanses were failures. Aside from that, the program is well set up and you just follow instructions and there isn't much to think about. There is some recomended reading and other info, but mostly you just follow cleansing instructions. Simple. About the community though...the community is 3 things to me. First of all, and most importantly, it's SUPPORT. cleansing is not easy for most people, not eating food for a day isn't easy for most people and the support makes ALL the difference in the world.

Secondly, it's information. This isn't just the knowledge of a handful of people, it's the knowledge of everyone that is a member here.

Third, it's experiental information. This isn't just information, it's the accounts of many people DOING this cleansing, it's very practical. Very informative, and similar to the support, it's VERY inspiring. Sometimes someone elses post about the benefits or even challenges they have is what keeps one going.

Support, knowledge in many forms, and inspiration. I could say no other cleansing program offers these things in this way, but that wouldn't be fair to those other programs because HPS isn't even in the category because it is not a cleansing program, it's a community.

Hi Michael, I agree completely. The support provided here is what really seperates this community from any other type of cleanse you might read about in a book or hear from a friend.

The fact that the support is online and yet still so effective is really a testament to the level of care and dedication that fellow cleansers give each other here.

Michael you also have the right attitude that will enable you to progress on this cleansing path. Not letting mistakes bog you down but always continuing to get back on the path of health. In some ways mistakes are also important if you can learn from them and use them as stepping stones as apparently you have been doing.

I look forward to joining you in our next cleanse.

I couldn't agree more. You've summed up nicely some of the most important aspects of HPS cleansing, I think. What more could I say? Keep it up and just do your best. If you make an honest effort to do better--being gentle with yourself when you make teh occasional mistake==you can't help but succeed eventually. Time, patience, and a clear intention will get you anywhere you want, and there are lots of cleansers here proving that every day.

Michael,

Thanks for clearly stating what sets HPS apart from the rest. Great job.

Congratulations on completing your first cleanse, too.

When you can, I'd like to hear about the specific health changes you noticed from the Level 1 cleanse. That's always inspiring, no matter what the changes are.

About changing to a new diet: One way to eat more of the good stuff and less of the bad stuff is to set a daily plan for how much fresh fruit, raw vegetable salad, brown rice, and cooked vegetables you will eat every day. Then eat that amount. That will tend to make a lot less room for the junk.

Instead of focusing on limiting the junk, put the focus on how much of the good foods you will provide to your body. That puts a positive spin on your mindset, looking forward to nourishing your body with energizing stuff. Pretty soon, your body will instinctively desire the life-supporting foods. Food cravings do drop away, but it takes perserverance, and it sounds like you've got plenty of that.

Also, good idea to re-read Netwonder Message #8, Changing Your Habits.

Great job, and we'll look forward to your future cleansing adventures.

Peace and Health,

- John

Hi Michael,

thanks for the testimonial/ program review.

In your introduction (http://hpscleansing.com/group/showthread.php?t=3348) a few weeks ago you wrote:

In the past I've done a fast with herbals and colonics, but I quit at about the 4th or 5th day, I just felt so drained and had no motivation to continue. I got a little mucoid plaque out but there were absolutely no sustainable benefits to the cleanse. ...

A couple of weeks ago, I did the lemonade diet which consists of drinking nothing but lemonade made with organic lemons and organic maple syrup and some cayenne pepper. With this I felt pretty good as I wasn't constantly bombarding my system with the crap I usually eat, but unfortunately it didn't get to the root of the problem which is the pounds of crap in my intestines. Didn't even scratch it.

I'm only 22, and I don't have any serious health problems, but I can definitely feel the effect that food has on my body..

So, when I reread that, and then read what you wrote in your testimonial, wow, I feel relieved that you are finding relief.

A personal commitment is what HPS cleansing sharpens for you, and I am so glad you are sharpening.

Forge on cleansing friend... I see you already ordered your 7DW level 2 and soon we will take again some very important steps forward in your health reclamation journey... health care = self care, and you are doing that here. Congrats dude!

Peace,

Wow, John, you're still cleansing. Good for you!

It sounds like you have something significant to get rid of in the descending colon.

I'll look forward to seeing what that is. - Maybe not this cleanse, but it shouldn't take many cleanses to get it out.
