Hi, everyone!
I'm getting ready for Level 2, and since my Level 1 introduction was lost during the changeover to the new message board, I'm going to include my original Level 1 introduction for background (I had made a paper copy of my Level 1 introduction, so I'll copy it here). Hope that's OK!

I'm really excited (and pretty nervous!) about this! The fact that we're all in this together, supporting each other and learning from each other, was the main incentive for me. There is a lot of great information available, but how do you make the day-to-day changes in your life without a lot of support?
I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and I've considered myself basically very healthy all my life. However, as I look back over the last few years, I realize that my energy levels have been decreasing, I feel more lethargic than I ever have, I'm constipated (hadn't ever looked at that before!), I'm getting small colds and miscellaneous periods of feeling less than great, my skin is looking washed out and breaking out, my stomach has been upset, bloated, and uncomfortable, and I basically have aches and pains that I didn't have before. I have also put on about 10 pounds in the last couple of years. So I have this general lackluster feeling most of the time. I do a lot of yoga, and am much more aware of my body than ever before, and my body is telling me it's time to take good care of myself! I want to glow and feel fabulous.
Sugar is my biggest downfall...I love chocolate! I've already been easing sugar out of my life, sometimes not so gracefully. Probably the biggest challenge for me is taking the time to prepare good food for myself. I'm not a fan of spending much time in the kitchen, so I want to find ways to make this simple and fun, otherwise I'll risk falling into old habits.
From this initial cleanse (yes, I fully intend to do the full series!), I'd love to develop some great new lifestyle habits - and the 'glowing' bit would be great. Jos-hua has been great about reducing a lot of my fears...like 'what do I do next' and 'what happens when...?' Reading the postings has also motivated me and helps me realize that we can all do this.
I'm inspired by all of you, and I'm looking forward to supporting you in this journey we've started!
Warmly,
Sue_R
