Well, I'm writing a brand new testimonial since my last one was lost when the previous board was down.

First off, I ended up getting to this site when it was linked as a kind of joke. This was because the old site used to have lots of pictures of evacuations and, yeah, I thought it was funny actually.

But I read the text, and it seemed to make sense. Wasn't really ready to make the jump, but I kept coming back day after day and read more and more (the website is gigantic).

I've had lots of symptoms for years, by the way. Gut always bugging me. For example, one time I was teaching a specialized course for a client, and I had to take breaks repeatedly to go to the bathroom and t-r-y to have a productive crap. You can laugh, but over months and months and, eventually years of that kind of stuff, it becomes key in your life. At one point, at the young age of 27, I even had to get an operation on my gut because of a hiatal hernia. I smoked cigarettes and drank lots of beer. Sat in front of a computer all day.

Not to say I was a complete basket case. I actually was in what many would call good health. I went to the gym. I used lots of vitamins and supplements. Drank a decent amount of water. Pretty strong and not particularly overweight.

But I was feeling like hell on the inside. I tried a lot of different things. I even broke down and got a professional colonic. It helped bit, but it really was sort of a band aid.

So, going through this, and reading all of the HPS information, primed me for making the transition from laughing at pictures of shit to actually trying the program.

It wasn't difficult, and it seemed to be impacting every part of my life in a positive way. I took a breather from all the bad stuff, all the supplements, all the coffee and cigarettes. By the way, I'm writing this testimonial now about 18 months after I started the Level 1 clense. Still not smoking.

Afterwards, I never felt healthier. Things that were wrong with me that I had gotten so used to (frog in the boiling water type stuff) were gone. Lots of little things (like losing a few pounds, no bags under my eyes) and big things as well (breathing better and deeper, lifetime gut problems gone).

I can't exaggerate how worthwhile this was. Yes, there are parts of it that are challenging, but the group really helps.

Overall, this was a tough decision to make --- almost didn't do it. And now, well over a year later, I think about how much better that whole year was (and the rest of my life will be) just because I took on this very effective program.

Andrew,

Great to read your testimonial. Thanks for writing it again for us all to know what you've been through. You have made some really positive changes and seem to be mindful of what you learned 18 months ago - how terrific! Good health to you.

Andrew,

I enjoyed reading your thoughts on cleansing and your level 1.

It is funny how people can appear healthy, but inside they are suffering. I think it is great that you took the leap. I came here and read for about two months before I felt that this was for me. I had learned about colon cleansing in my 30's, but did not persue it. Now in my 40's with a few more aches and pains, I have realized the error of my ways;) and have jumped into cleansing with a commitment to get healthy and not be a cancer statistic or old and decrepit when I am in my 60's.

I look forward to reading about your subsequent cleansing experiences.

Take care,
Tisha

Tisha,

Ah you remember my long lost posts, eh? Glad you enjoyed them.

It's very true about the looking healthy...I think I, along with a lot of folks, got caught up in the trap of putting out fires and 'spot' fixing. I lifted weights and exercised, but it wasn't really leading to health.

I want to thank you (and everyone else) for being so nice in welcoming me back here, by the way. I know I disappeared for a while, and I really have been leeching off of this board, more than contributing. It's people like you that make me want to make more of an effort.

Thanks,
Andrew_M
