Greetings HPS cleansing friends, :D

Well, in less than a month I will be 51 years old (or should I say 51 years young  ), and as I mentioned at the end of last year, I wanted to use this year of 50 to 51 to strengthen my body and give it a good boost for middle age... for my 50's and 60's.

I made the aspiration at the beginning of my 50th year that I would like to do four HPS 7-Day Wonder cleanses this year, before my 51st birthday... and somehow, that is working out, has worked out.

I did a 7 Day Wonder in July last year, and then in late Dec 2007 and the first week of January 2008 I did two weeks, i.e, two 7DW seven dayers one after the other (one juice fasting, one water only fasting) and now I intend to do the fourth one before my 51st birthday this month of May 2008.

I plan on starting the formal around May 20th or May 25th and will open soon my pre-cleansing thread in the pre-cleansing forum.

While in Nepal, I had a chance to do a few massages (acupressure)... the same guy there has been doing them on my body for over 8 years, so he has some knowledge of my body and familiarity with it... I hadn't been in Kathmandu for two years now, so I was quite pleased when he did the massage last month and said to me, "your body is better now then before..."

That didn't surprise me in light of all the work I have done on it this year but nonetheless I thought that was funny for the average person to hear... two years older, mid age and my body is better, stronger, healthier.

BTW, the massage people here in Thailand say the same thing.

Also two weeks ago, when I returned from Kathmandu, I went straight to see the TCM as I wanted her inputs in light of everything I was doing in Kathmandu these last 5 weeks... and in light of the fact that we did some acupuncture prior to my trip. She too said the organs are 20 to 25% stronger, so that was nice to hear.

She in fact was quite excited because she said in the last 9 years that she is seeing me, this is the first time my tongue coloration isn't dark red... and then she got into a long story how there are two people in this town that she can't figure their health out, me and another guy... i.e, the dark red tongue should have meant a different state of health than I was experiencing and it always perplexed her, and secondly, many a times she cannot find my pulse, but my energy levels are so high and my health so excellent... it just doesn't make sense to her... anyway, I said to her, "if you are happier, I am too, lets rejoice, in short there is progress in a safe and positive direction", and we laughed.

She is so sweet, I always enjoy visiting with her.

Anyway, as I approach 51 years old I feel like I did at 31, in fact better, healthier... who could have imagined that... at 31 I had a heap of health problems and here I am at 51 without any... I have no aches, no pains, no diseases, take no drugs or medications, have no medical insurance and do not worry about my health. I have no medicine cabinet in my house, never go to the gym, don't do any conventional exercising nor dieting...

It's quite amazing, I don't have any of the issues that I had at 31 and haven't gotten new ones as I aged!!!!! When the seasons change I never get the flu nor a cold, nor do I worry about where my health is headed as my friends here do.

In short, HPS cleansing has been well worth the effort and the investments these last 20 years... I feel blessed and fortunate to be doing what we are doing here, i.e, taking responsibility for our health and well being.

I follow the HPS cleansing and rejuvenation path and leave it at that, in peace.

I feel lucky that this year I could do 4 HPS 7DW's... a kind of blessing... as with most things, I guess once you set your intention, things kind of follow through and unfold accordingly.

I look forward to this upcoming cleanse, and more so, I very much look forward to the post-cleansing period... that is where I think the accumulation of the work I have done on my body and for my health this year is going to take a leap... all year long I haven't felt or seen the leap, just a gradual accumulation of better health, but I guess that is because I was sowing the ground... now soon, it is time to reap the fruit.

This past month has seem some great cleansing, healing and rejuvenation going on here at our forums... Allison, Perry, Irina, Rick, Bharat, John, Ben, Dorothea, Stephen, Deborah and Chris.

I look forward to following in your footsteps and adding to your successes and excitment... lets forge on HPS cleansing friends, the best is yet to come!

And on the other hand I look forward to seeing Mia, Jamie, Alan and Aaron and Dan... I know you guys are gearing up for a cleanse soon... so that we will be great, we more or less will doing it a the same time. :D

Hey Jos-hua, you know reading over your post here I had to chuckle because I've noted in the past how, the longer I stay here and the more cleansing I complete, the more it strikes me how much my intros resemble testimonials. I've noticed the same thing with our other long-timers here, but reading your intro it's almost as though there isn't a difference at all! We get to a point where there's nothing to discuss but how great everything, and how much better it's getting, even when we're just out here saying "hello."

Looks like you got confirmation that despite all the hardships presented by daily life in Nepal, your body needed that variety, that break from the routine, and has thanked you for it several times over. Interesting note about the tongue color too, and I appreciate the discussion about setting aspirations for the coming year because that's something that I still need lots of work on, even though I see improvements over time.

But I guess we can discuss that in depth either in your precleanse thread or other open cleansing threads, or wherever we go from here, the learning never stops, the fascination never falters for me, not for a moment.

It's really something else to be here, what else can I say?

Rick

Hi Jos-hua,

It's very calming and encouraging to read your intro here... I almost feel like some of your health is oozing on over to me while I read... like I have the health you have... Well, in reality I know I'm not there yet, but hey, I'm on my way... one cleanse at a time.

It's very reassuring to be taking advice from you - someone who is doing what he's telling others to do. Really, that's what a true teacher is - someone who's example we can follow and learn from.

I'm looking forward to my next cleanse now... whenever that will be!

Happy cleansing to you Jos-hua!

lots of love and thanks for helping me survive!

Jos-hua,

Congratulations on preparing for you upcoming cleanse!!! It's very inspiring for me to read your intro and to aspire to your level of cleansing.... The main point throughout this program in constancy. Consistency throughout all the levels leads one to attaining the level of health for a lifetime of happiness...

Thank you for the support you have given me and others throughout the years here at HPS and for providing this forum to help us keep a record of our endeavors and cleanse... I look forward to continuing with you and others on the path to optimal health and happiness

PEACE

none of it surprises me either, but it should surprise those that are not HPS members.

relatively speaking though, it's miraculous...at 50 years old, going on 51, your body is "better, stronger and healthier" than two years before....wow, so inspiring.

you could relatively easily believe someone in their 20's saying and experiencing something like that, but in this day in age of rampant poor health to have someone, at least ONE person in their 50's, saying "i'm getting healthier and healthier!" is a big bright light of hope in this world.

i hope you readers that are thinking of joining us here are taking note. there are amazing things happening here that EVERYONE can be apart of and experience.

thank you thank you thank you Jos-hua for all of your hard-work, dedication and devotion to the creation and practice of this program and to the wholesome development and health of each and every single person in our community.

with much much gratitude,
your friend, alan

Rick, yes, you are right, but it isn't as you know planned like that... I didn't plan on turning my intro into a testimonial, but as you know, and so rightfully stated, that is what happens when one is cleansing and rejuvenating for so many years...

Dorothea, over the years, when I'm surrounded by so many great cleansing practitioners here at our forums, it becomes harder and harder to discern who is the teacher and who the student... we all are learning one from another while walking the path.

Stephen, inspiring yes, great, :o , but fact is I'm just following in your foootsteps... isn't it you who just did a formal a few months back and now at age 56 are up on the slopes skiing? or dancing for 3 night straights... wasn't that you at the club last month?

Alan, 51 and going strong... it is quite unbelievable... I mean, when I was in my 20's and 30's I remember people in their 50's as gray, old, fearful and on a downward spiral... I had only one friend, whose father at 49 looked like in his early 4'0's, all the rest were fat, gray, worried about heart attacks and cholesterol, taking medications and fearful, fearful of the future.

I am not fearful, and I look forward to what this accumulated cleansing of mine in my 30' and 40's will give me in my 50's and 60's and 70's... if I last that long. Death is knocking on everyone's door and no one knows when it will arrive, so we must use our time wisely while we have it. Being here with you and all the others seems to me a good use of my time. Helping People Survive, Helping People Thrive. Om mane padme hung.

Peace friends,

Will update my pre-cleansing threads with so stuff I want to talk about, privately, there... see you there.

Jos-hua, yeh it was me doing all those things but at 59!!! Along with riding my motorcycle around the country I'm still roofing and just spent the day planting onions, potatoes, tomatoes and tomorrow lettuce, kale, peppers, beans, spinach and corn.... I also planted earlier in the spring a peach tree, apple tree, and plum tree.... The yard is looking very productive....and you all are invited for a feast in the fall...

hahahhahha, 59 is it?

I guess I keep thinking 56 as that was more less the time you started cleansing here using the HPS system and became active here at the forums... I guess I'm living in the past,,, same as regards my age, I keep thinking I'm 35 which is when I got on this HPS cleansing path.

hahahahhahahaa... motorcycling, hiking, dancing and roofing... and still going strong...

I rejoice in your rejoicing, especially in light of some of the stories over the years here that you have posted regarding friends of yours and their declining health.

Peace bro.

That's very encouraging to read and gives us great inspiration that if we continue on the cleansing path we can also experience the same worry-free, healthy lifestyle down the track. I certainly plan on being healthier at 50 than I am now and I have 15 years to work on it!

I look forward to following your formal and seeing the results of your intense year of cleaning...and to catching up with you whilst you are in the middle of your post-cleanse next month!!!

Stephen, I'd love to drop by for one of your feasts someday!

Wow, Jos-hua you are in the hammer lane! In the fast lane for sure. Great job.

She too said the organs are 20 to 25% stronger, so that was nice to hear.

Impressive. At your level that is no small feat. I wonder what the TCM thinks your organs' functional ages are(about the same as a 30 age olds, etc.). That would be interesting to know.

Anyways, great Intro and god speed man.

Always a pleasure to read your words Jos-hua. I can feel the excitement in you as you prepare for yet another cleanse. One would think that after the first dozen or so the thrill would have left but after reading your post it sounds like the anticipation/excitement is still very much there. Such an inspiration Jos-hua!

Ultimately, this is where I would like to be. 4 per year perhaps with each new season. Maybe it's a little premature to be thinking of it at my stage but in my mind that's where I would like to eventually be.

Interesting observations with your tongue. I'm not sure what it means either. In any case great to see you gearing up for another cleanse. I'm sure it will be very fruitful

Ah, Stephen, hearing of your planting is like music to my ears! If we can't come, maybe you could take some pictures of your garden and post them for us?

Greetings HPS friends,

Ben, it's funny, when I did my first HPS type of cleanse I was 35, and like most people, I thought that would be it...

Never did I imagine then that I would still be cleansing at age 51...

But when I saw what came out of me then at that first cleanse, and how my body changed for the better from it, I decided on another round a few months later,,, and when I saw what came out then (100 times more crap :o ), I just knew there was no sense in trying to sort out my life further until I really cleaned out... and that's how it all started. Cleanses 3, 4 and 5 radically change my body and mind, and well, the rest is history.

Chris, that whole thing of functional age I really don't buy into... it plays on our ego, so everyone is ready to pay for that test... and anyway, who can say what a 35 years old organs should be like, for if they are saying, they are comparing.

The TCM looks for specific beats, pulses, depth and strength of pulse for each organ, and even there, as I noted in my case three quarters of the time she cannot even find mine, i.e., I'm dead already.

John, if you can get to 4 a year, once every 4 years that would be a great feat... there are going to be ebbs and flows of the number of cleanses you do each year... the 4 or 5 a year doesn't happen very often, but when it can and does happen, that is a great blessing I think.
Two a year is a wonderful feat in itself.

....i.e., I'm dead already.

Well, being corporeal isn't what's it's cracked up to be...
unless of course you have an HPS body. ;)

Hi Jos-hua,

I'm glad to have read your intro here, as it inspires me even more. Having finished my 2nd cleanse last week, i'm already looking forward to the benefits over the next few months of post cleansing, and then hopefully prepare for my 3rd cleanse. And reading about your experiences, i would like to strive for much improvements in my health, and know that i have the best chance of achieving that being here at HPS.

I'm looking forward to following your progress. Thank you for blazing such a path for so many.

Aloha Jos-hua, friend,

Wonderful that you will be cleansing again this month! 4 in 1 year - what a blessing! I rejoice in your rejoicing!

Being relatively new to the community I have not yet traveled with you through one of your cleanses and I'm really looking forward to it!

Thank you for being such an inspiration and guide and friend to all of us. :D

Love,
Allison
