Hello everyone.
It has been 7 months since my last cleanse, a bit too long!
I've slipped somewhat in my cleansing practices and now look forward to re-energizing those practices and getting involved in the group again.
I just came back from a week in Yosemite and experienced first hand how out of shape I am right now!
I've enjoyed the benefits of the prior 7 cleanses that I have done:
I'm still prescription drug free; even over the counter; not even an aspirin since I started HPS.
No more eczema and reduced neuropathy pain.
My weight is up, but my general sense of well-being is still good. It is more of a challenge for me to get going with another cleanse than it used to be, largely because I already feel pretty good!

Hi Janaka!
How nice to hear from you again and to know you're back for more rejuvenation!
I remember you fondly, as you were one of the first people to say hi and to encourage me when I first came to HPS.
I'll be visiting you ...
love,
Dorothea

Ditto that Janaka,
Good to see you here again!! I did my annual back country ski last March in Yosemite and I'm afraid the way the gas thing is going I'm either going to have to fore go going or figure another way to get back down there.....
At any rate it's great to hear from you again and that you are well and happy...
Looking forward to your next cleanse.....
PEACE

Greetings Janaka,
You know, when I was 25, someone who was 65 seemed to me then to be an OLD person... and even someone 45 seemed to me old.
Not just because the way the looked, but they all had heaps of problems.... and the more they aged, one always keeps hearing of the more problems that keep accumulating.
Now that I have been doing HPS 7DW cleansing for over 15 years, from the age of 35 to 51, I can say, at 51 I feel and look better than I did at 35 without a health worry in the world, and by seeing you here, I just assume at 61 or 65, I'll be saying the same thing.
It is such an inspiration to see you here. and to read you.

Man, big brother, thanks for letting us know all that.
By the way, you are no longer our eldest HPS cleanser, Irina just finished her formal level 1 a month ago and she is 66.
But in my heart, you still are my favorite elder.
Looking forward to your upcoming cleanse... I'm confident you will benefit tremendously.
Peace,

Janaka, good to see you back for another round! I can't believe it's already been 7 months, I thought it had only been a few. I'm glad to see that the neuropathy is giving you less pain, and I'll bet it feels great to have all the neurontin out of your system for so long now. I'm looking forward to your formal.

Thanks, Stephen, Dorothea, Jos-hua and Richard for saying hello. It's nice to be back.
Jos-hua, I'm glad that an "old guy" can be an inspiration. My body still has issues and does feel rather old, but my mind feels like a college student!
Thanks,
Janaka

Well, I'm glad to hear that you still have issues Janaka, because otherwise, if you didn't, I'd have to assume you were dead already...
That's what we humans do with most of our life, work through our issues...
My point in the above post was that it seems you NOW have the self-confidence, the tools, the skills, and the knowhow to properly take care of your body, which of course is inspiring to me, considering where you were prior to starting the HPS 7DW program. So I rejoice in your rejoicing. :)
Stay alive man, keep those issues coming and deal with them all in a sane sensible manner, having a mind of a college student surely must help too.
Wishing you all the best Janaka.
Peace,
P.S. probably, if you didn't wait so long between the last cleanse and this one, probably, you would might have had less issues. I know I try to get a 7DW cleanse in every three or four months, and that serves as the greatest preventative medicine I know of.:D Please do take note. ;)

Hello Janaka,
I want to wish you well with your latest cleanse, and as Jos-hua has said you are an inspiration to me. I know many 65 year olds (and younger) who have trouble walking, with their body falling apart, reliant on prescription drugs and resigned to spending the rest of their lives in constant pain. But here you are having tackled Yosemite.
It really is nice to see you, like Dorothea i too remember you with great fondness encouraging me in my early days here at HPS.
Om shanti Janaka,
Bharat

Thank you, Jos-hua and Bharat - I will take note, and see if I can do cleanses more often.

Hi Janaka,
I also remember that you helped me when I joined - I believe something about juicers.
I hope this upcoming cleanse will serve you well!
