This is the 3-year anniversary cleanse :)!

Three years ago, in August of 2005 I joined HPS, mostly by accident. Well, not quite accident, as I was eating a lot of milk and cereal almost every evening at late hours, I was thinking - there is something wrong about this, it feels bad somehow, I shouldn't be eating like this, but how? I want to learn better. And after some time I found HPS that August. I didn't do a cleanse immediately as I was planning because I had to go in a vacation and considering the preparations for HPS there wasn't enough time, so this month there are 3 years since joining and September 3 years since cleansing.

Well, I changed a lot, in many many ways I didn't imagine, and there is no point in enumerating them since I posted so many testimonials since then :).

What I wanted to mention here is that, well, if you stay active in the HPS forums, you are in contact with cleansers and more likely to cleanse yourself. If you don't, slowly but surely you get back to old habits. I mean, why wouldn't that happen - after all, most people around do not cleanse. Only by staying active with HPS and in touch with like minded people do you make progress. Really, it's that simple, and the main difference which makes HPS successful is the level of involvement among people.

I'm writing these because I had to (or rather chose to?) disengage from the forums, and as a result, I got back to old ways for most of it.
This cleanse is to get me back on track, undo some of the bad choices I made recently and to put me in sync with cleansing. I can tell my body is really needing this, badly, six months passed since my last HPS program.

Ok, so the message here for people who freshly joined is to just follow the program and remain involved, and everything will be just fine - as long as you do something about your future, there will be some positive change toward the health and wellbeing goal.

Great to read you Adrian... I'm right on your heels, starting a formal any moment soon... but after reading Stephens post to you at his post-cleansing thread, I guess I'll have to put it off a day or two.

Yep, the secret to staying healthy and getting healthier year in and year out is simple, it's to stay engaged... most people view their health care as an event, but events die out, the people dissipate and the lessons learned fall to the wayside...

But if we stay engaged, well, it's a totally different story...

And here at HPS-online cleansing, we are staying engaged not with talkers and assurers and dreamers (as is the case at most health related forums that I have found and visited over the years) but we are engaged with real people who are PRACTICING, practicing on their own bodies, and with their lives, humans engaged in the art of being.

So there is a strong inspirational and educational element here that is based on hands-on experiences. And that is priceless!!!!

Forge on friend, good to read you, great to have you here with us, your contributions to the group have really grown this last year, keep up the good work.

Peace,

Adrian, I've been waiting to see this intro for a good couple months now, felt sure you were gearing up for another cleanse any day. It's funny to me that this is a 3 year anniversary sorta cleanse for you, because in my 5 years here you've done just about as many as I have--it's amazing that 6 months have gone by since your last one, that's like a record for you I think ;).

Yeah, the disengagement thing is something I feel too...dunno if it's choice or circumstance but at some point we all get led astray, and we learn the lesson all over again. Like Jos-hua, I'm in an "any day now" mode of starting a cleanse, got some food in the fridge that I don't want to waste, but when it's gone, I'm on, so to speak.

Anyway, good to see you ready to go now, as Jos-hua has pointed out this has been a big year for you and the "reset" you talk about is sure to help you get moving to much higher realizations of health and spirit.

Hi Adrian:

You wrote......This cleanse is to get me back on track, undo some of the bad choices I made recently and to put me in sync with cleansing.....

I sure know what you mean there. It was rewarding to me to do that last cleanse.

Hi Adrian,

Good to see that you're soon going to be on a cleanse. Your intro was a bit of a wake up call for me, in that it's fundemental to be engaged with the forums, keeps us connected and gives us focus to try and keep up the practices.

Wow, looks like there are quite a few cleanses starting soon. I'm hoping to schedule my next cleanse as well. Keep well friend.

Hi Adrian!

Good to see you on track again.

I'm writing because I had to ... disengage from the forums, and as a result, I got back to old ways for most of it.

Well, if we don't learn something as time passes, it's a waste of time - you learned something and now you're back on the cleansing track. Good for you!

love,
Dorothea

Thanks for visiting my introduction thread, Jos-hua, Rick, Janaka, Bharat, Dorothea and Stephen.

Yes, I guess said it pretty well: if you want to have good results, you need to work on yourself continually, not in big leaps followed by long breaks. Slow but steady wins the race... I am glad you agree with me. I mean, HPS seems like a lot of stuff to newcomers (well, it is, but we learn quickly), but at the end of the day what matters is what is changed in behavior and attitude, and such changes usually take time; HPS is a vehicle to change our attitudes and encourage to work on ourselves.

Adrian you're a big inspiration! On your sixth master Faster cleanse after completing the 4 levels all in just three years. That's about 3-4 cleanses a year. As I say very inspiring and where I would like to be.

Three years ago, in August of 2005 I joined HPS, mostly by accident. Well, not quite accident, as I was eating a lot of milk and cereal almost every evening at late hours,

Well, from following some of your progress since I've been here, I can confidently say you certainly have come a long way from your milk and cereal days.

You're so right about HPS encouraging cleanses and good habits. I suppose that is true for any like minded people in a group environment, it naturally motivates you to do the same thing, jump on the bandwagon so to speak.

Welcome back Adrian,

I can totally sympathize with you as I am about to embark on my L2 after completing my L1 in Jan of 07! But thats the great thing about us humans...we learn from our mistakes. We try not to beat ourselves up about it, and instead do something to correct what has gone wrong.

My best wishes to you as you progress with another level of cleansing.

Peace,
Aaron
