Hi everyone

I'm Espen. I live in Trondheim, in the middle of Norway.

Three years ago I had a small life crisis, which was due to several issues. Slowly but steadily I have recovered from this, and the last year has been a really good one for me. Moreover, I know I'd never been here today if it hadn't been for that period of trouble.

In the last few years I've become increasingly interested in natural health. And after stumbling over this website, I'd say I've come to the right place! As the rest of you I hope dedicating to and completing this program will give me young, vibrant health, clearing up a few issues I've been dealing with for years, and also achieving a calmer, clearer mind. I look forward to learning the cleansing techniques and everything that goes with it, as well as getting involved in the forums (I have to say I'm impressed with how thorough this site and program seems. It's almost a little intimidating :) )

My job is as a professional bridge player. This means I do a lot of travelling (especially weekends). When travelling, most of the time I stay in hotels, so that does bring on a challenge when it comes to healthy food intake and food combinations. Also I might not have a full week from 16th or 23rd available for quite a while. But I'm not in a hurry. I will use the time until I get started to read and learn, and that will only come in handy when I eventually start.

Great to read you Espen.

I know from our short exchange of emails prior to you ordering, that you have an interest not only in healing your own health and body issues, but more so, a general interest as you noted above in natural health care.... Great. I look forward to working with you!

Son, I want you to try and follow the HPS 7DW program to the dot... it's good that you have some time until your start your formal cleansing, get hold of Dan's book and jump into that... you'll profit.

Also, I want you to go through the intro's, testimonials, pre-formal-post cleansing threads of Alan, Adrian, Ben, Rick and John_F. You are more or less in their age group, and they have made tremendous strides in their own personal evolution using this program. Within their threads you'll find vast and deep discussions not only about cleansing in general, but also about the path, and all the different issues one will encounter and be dealing with as one walks a path of continuous healing and rejuvenation for a lifetime.

I'd like you to not only read through, but also to get involved in their cleansing...

Each and every one of them is either right now starting a 7DW cleanse, or in their formal cleansing or in the post-cleansing getting ready for another round of cleansing and rejuvenation soon.

And you guys, I'd appreciate if you give special care and attention to Espen as he rolls onto the cleansing and rejuvenation path, guiding and inspiring him just as you would your own brother.

Espen, my mom played bridge for quite a few years, but my dad never played any card games whatsoever, so neither do I... but from what I know from my mom, it's a great game, and good for the mind.

Wishing you all the best,
Glad to make this connection with you. :D

Peace,

Hey Espen, great to have you aboard.

I have to say, being a professional card player sounds like a dream, I realize in the day-to-day routine of it it's probably like any other profession, but from the outside it sure sounds cool ;).

I'm one of the guys Jos-hua mentioned in his post above, and for sure I'll be actively watching and engaging as you progress through your cleansing. Take Jos-hua's advice to heart and put it into practice as best you can, and you won't go wrong. This program gives you all the tools you need and more to maximize your health and well-being.

Hey Espen,

A few lines to send you greetings and say welcome.

I'm confident you'll experience great results from the program...so long as you follow through and make the changes...a life long habit.

Norway sounds like a great place to live...have to get there some day.

I never heard of a professional bridge player...sounds interesting though. I learned to count cards some time ago and liked to visit Vegas once or twice a year and always had a great time....

So let me wish you all the best in your cleansing....

Perry

Thanks for the warming welcome and good advice guys! Really does give me even more motivation to learn more and follow through. Cool to hear your mom knows the game, Jos-hua! Life is good as a card player, Rick, but it sure takes a lot of time and it could quite easily turn you a little one-dimensional. Good thing there are so many other interesting things in life (like this :) ). And Norway is a great place to live, Perry, but I doubt you'll find a more expensive country anywhere! Also thanks, Janaka, for your kind words.

Hi Espen,

One of my best friends is from Norway. Living here now in the states for most of her life. I just wanted to welcome you to HPS and wish encouragement in beginning your 7DW cleanse. This is a great group here and you will be well rewarded as Jos-hua says by following the program to the dot.

Looking forward to following along with you as you start down the cleansing path.

PEACE

Hey Espen!

That's so cool that you are a professional card player! I have always wanted to go to Norway - it looks like such a beautiful place.

I haven't started my cleanse yet and I agree it seems a bit intimidating but as everyone on the forum says - if you follow it to the letter you will see amazing results. So far everyone here seems so friendly and supportive - it's a great community.

Good luck!

Hi Espen,

I also wish to welcome you to the HPS community. The program as it is laid out is amazing, leading us step by step to improving our health and vitality, and we all benefit from the support from so many cleansers along the way too.

and I agree it seems a bit intimidating

Don't worry about being overwhelmed, though it seems as there is so much to take onboard, we have all found the format one that is easy to follow, plus there are many friends here to help you along the way.

I look forward to following your cleanse.

Espen, welcome to the community!

A professional Bridge player huh. Sounds like a very interesting profession, one in which you probably have a lot of stories to relate.

It's unfortunate that being on the road does lead to a lot of improper food combinations and choices, however some of that can be overcome with some advanced preparation and techniques you'll learn here at HPS.

As the rest of you I hope dedicating to and completing this program will give me young, vibrant health, clearing up a few issues I've been dealing with for years, and also achieving a calmer, clearer mind.

Yes, a clearer, calmer mind is just as important as a healthy body. The two are really inseparable. Level 1 but especially the higher levels address this issue. Stay the course and you will eventually benefit on many different levels.

Hey Espen

Wow, Norway, I've always wanted to go there - supposedly I still have family living there. I just wanted to pop by and say welcome to the group! We all look forward to being here for you before, during and after your cleanse.

I've never played bridge, but I do love card games. Sounds like an exciting job!

Keep walkin
