Hi. I'm a 32 year old mainframe computer programmer with a wife and two young children. Before I got into programming I was a working/teaching musician (mostly saxophone). I decided I needed more money to support a freelance jingle business but have never found the time since I started working.
I don't have any terrible health issues (at least none that have surfaced yet) but I long for the energy, motivation, clarity, and creativity I barely remember having as a kid. I could definately stand to lose a couple pounds around the waist but you probably wouldn't know it to look at me. One problem I do have is that I catch colds very easily and frequently. I'm convinced it's from an overload of antibiotics as a kid and years of poor diet. I'm ready to get cleaned out and start fresh.
I have done two 4 - 5 day juice fasts before and noticed improvement in my sleeping, energy, and eyesite - until I slipped back into my old bad habits shortly after. While the fast was beneficial, I can definately tell that I should have also been doing more to flush out the toxins (I only did 2 enemas with one of the fasts). The pictures on this web site were a great motivator for me. I want that stuff out!
Basically I want to be my absolute best for myself and my family. I need to function more effectively on less sleep and make more bold decisions about our futures. I want to be around for my girls when they grow up without being a burden to them. Also, as I see people around me suffer from poor health, disease, and over-medication, I want to be able to recommend a true solution that I've tried first hand.
One more thing - I have a lot of amalgam fillings in my teeth that I am suspicious of. I have an appointment with a dentist that does mercury removal. Another toxin I would like to be rid of but I don't if it's possible. Seems like there are just too many. If anyone has experience with this I'd like to hear about it.
Thanks for allowing me to be part of this community. Unfortunately I can't start my pre-cleanse for a couple weeks because my work schedule would interfere with the 7 day fasting - but I'll be checking back here trying to build up as much inspiration as I can.
Thanks again.
