Greetings everyone,
My name is Jeff_B. I am married (going on 14 years). I have 2 kids age 6 and 11, both boys, 2 cats (one is mean & the other is retarded) and 2 dogs (both Jack Russell Terriers/Terrors).

I also have a mortgage payment, 2 car payments, numerous credit card bills and weeds in my yard (chemlawn usually takes care of those however).

I spent 11 years in the military. I joined the Army right out of high school in 1982 as a Private and worked my way up through the ranks and resigned my commission as a Captain 11 years later in July 1993. I currently am a District Sales Manager for a manufactured housing builder (trailers for those not interested in being PC). I am 100% commission=high stress job. I have been with the company since 1994.

I was diagnosed with Malignant Meloma when I was 29 (7 days after separating from the military). I was lucky & caught the cancer before it had a chance to spread. However, I was told that if I was still alive in 5 years would I be considered a survivor. At the time I had a 2 year old son and the thought of possibly not living to his 7th birthday really got my attention.

Anyway, 9 years later and I'm still here. I immediately started taking supplements and drinking 1.5 liters of water per day (once diagnosed). I feel that has really helped me over the last 9 years. I feel as though I have been under a pressure cooker for the last 20 years between the military and my sales career of the last 9 years. I know the stress is taking its toll on my body and I want to take control of my health.

During the last 2 years my bowels have started giving me trouble. I acquired an anal fissure 2 years ago and have had leakage ever since. During this last year my BMs have changed in size & consistency. I'm getting close to 40 and hearing about Colon Cancer, etc has given me a few sleepless nights. I want to take action, but I don't really trust doctors and hate spending the money on testing etc.

About a month ago, I drank too much hard liquor and was up all night with a burning stomach and hard mass in my abdomen that hurt when I pressed on it. I started to panic & almost went to the emergency room. I didn't go to the ER, but I did decide to take action. Long story short, here I am. Everything I have read makes sense to me & I'm very excited to get started.

I'm planning to do the formal cleanse starting the last Friday in March. I truly feel that w/o a clean colon, all other proactive measures (vitamins, water and exercise) are only partially effective.

I'm looking forward to making some new friends. And (to regress a little bit) I want you all to know that getting cancer at such an early age was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. I am 10 times happier today then I was 10 years ago and I don't take anything for granted.

Finding Jos-Hua and this whole group has empowered me and given me hope that I can take control of my health. Thus, living a long healthy life (God willing) and being able to spend my money on fun stuff rather than prescription drugs and doctor bills.

Hope this wasn't too long. Thanks for reading!
