Hi Everyone:
I have two grown daughters and have two grandchildren. I live with my significant other of six years and his son. I found this program while searching the internet for alternative healing for the lethargy that I have experienced over the past year or more.
I live now live in the Midwest, which means lots of fried and greasy food. I moved here five years ago from Portland, Oregon. Big culture shock! Since I’ve been here I have gained thirty pounds! This is not characteristic of me at all. All of my life, I have been underweight, having difficulty gaining weight.
My health has been good most of my life. I was very active during my late 20’s and early to mid 30’s. I lost my oldest sister in 1991 to ovarian cancer. My doctor advised me to have my ovaries removed after we researched the family history and found that most of the women in our family had the same problems. Out of fear I went along. Since then, I have gradually lost energy and have experienced some other health problems- irritable bowel syndrome, GERD, high blood pressure and lower back problems. I am not saying that one was related to the other, but I probably would not do the same today- the elective surgery (and my doctor said that my lethargy was depression and tried to offer the drugs to treat it- I declined and started looking for alternatives).
The original surgery left my uterus, which was removed for unrelated problems in 1998. Also in the last twelve years three more of my six siblings have been diagnosed with catastrophic illnesses. The people in my family do not live long productive lives, in fact the “golden years” tend to be gray years, I say this because that is typically the pallor of my older family members.
I am looking for something that will help me feel better. Something that will give me the energy to do what’s necessary to turn my downward spiral up again! This program thus far has made me work and forced me to stay focused (I didn’t mention that I have ADD – Attention Deficit Disorder).
Looking forward to interacting with all of you much over the next couple of months.
Thanks and love,
