Hello fellow cleansers,

My name is Gael and I am in my late forties, happily married, and works as a teacher for my living. I am very excited about joining the HPS cleansing community, because it feels like this cleansing program would be overwhelming without the support of others - who have been through this experience.

I have had many health problems over the years. There is a history of cancer in my family and I had cancer in my twenties. I am happy to say that I am now free of cancer but I have had many other health issues - despite working hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Most recently, I have been diagnosed with an extremely high levels of heavy metal toxicity (mercury, lead, tin, alluminum). I have one last mercury filling to be removed next week and then I will begin my cleansing program. I had been receiving chelation therapy, but somehow using toxic substances to leach out other toxic substances didn't feel quite right. I have decided to clean up my internal environment first, and then see what might need to be done after that.

I also had a car accident two years ago that lead to quite a long recovery and a period of being quite sedentary. During that time I have gained about twenty pounds and have not been able to lose them despite a healthy diet. Nerve damage kept me from maintaining my usual exercise program, but I am now starting to get back to it.

I have tried various fasts and cleansing programs in the past, but nothing of this magnitude. I am looking forward to beginning my cleanse the last week of April.

I wish everyone out there success in meeting their health objectives, and thank you for paving the way for beginners like me.

Warmest wishes,
Gael

Hi Gael,

Welcome to the group! I will be 49 at the end of April. Both my parents are deceased and they both had cancer. My mother had Lupus, as well. I can certainly appreciate your concern about family history. And the fact that you have had cancer yourself at such an early age, makes it even more of a concern.

You will be amazed at the wonderful changes that cleansing at HPS will bring to your life. I look forward to sharing the experience with you.

Hi Gael,

It's great to read that in spite of all the negative things that have happened to you, you're still striving towards your health goals with a strong, positive outlook. Wish you the best in your cleansing experience.

Dear Gael:

Hello and welcome. I am at the end of the precleanse and am looking forward to the formal cleanse on Sunday. The change that is recommended with food has already made me feel healthier and has eliminated some of my cravings.

I agree with you that this would be a huge undertaking without support. I have always been a loner so getting support on the internet is a great way to gain support since I am normally rather quiet.

I look foward to seeing your progress and wish you great results.
