Hello everyone who reads this!
I finished 8 days of fasting on January 4th, and I am so proud of myself for having the discipline and commitment to finish two weeks of pre-cleanse and then the fast. I love food sooo much, that I thought it would be impossible, but it wasn't.
I never got hungry, and only a few times did I miss eating. I enjoyed the break from food, and I was able to enjoy the fresh juice everyday too!
I considered myself to be pretty healthy before I began. I had recently lost about 15 lbs after having a baby last year, and I felt good about my appearance. I was excited about the cleanse, as to be healthy on the inside, and I was hoping to rid myself of sugar and chocolate cravings.
I began the precleanse December 13th at 124 lbs. I am 5'3. I ended at 109 lbs.
I went from 23% fat to 14%, and my waist size went from 28" to 25".
Size 8 pants to size 2!!!!
I couldn't believe how quickly my thighs and hips disappeared. My husband told me I had a six pack. I can also see the muscle definition in my legs from all the running and weights I've done over the years. I always had too much fat around to appreciate all my hard work.
Another good thing that I've noticed since I began the precleanse, is that my sinuses have cleared and I have a clear throat - mucus is all gone. I have suffered with seasonal allergies for years, and I think getting off dairy has really helped a lot.
All of this was a side benefit from the support and education I recieved.
I knew a lot about food combining before, but I really understand the importance of it now.
It was really motivating, and still is to see everyone else go through the same program I did. I enjoy reading about other people in the group, and am so excited when people overcome their weaknesses.
I am now a week into my post cleanse, and I admit that it has not been easy. I still have to set daily goals so I don't overeat, and I have to constantly remeind myself to eat only good foods, but at least I know I have support, and I know I want to continue to be healthy.
I have not been perfect, but who is? As long as I keep trying, I am committed to good health, and I know everyone on this site is too!! That's so great. Happy living to all of us, and may we BE the master's of our souls!
