This is the third time I have started the precleanse for level 3. First I was delayed by slow coming of products. Then I tried to start in an unfavorable time, with too much work on my hands. Now I am in the third week of precleanse. So, if the heavens don't forbid, it will work this time.

So many turns on the road, but we'll get there. I guess I'm not the only one for whom this is true.

Since the level 2 cleanse I have gained much weight. It all happened in a few months. I hope to reclaim the territory lost and get ahead.

I look forward to sharing with you and hope to contribute to your experience on the road to optimum health.

Keep yourself encouraged. You will do fine with the fast. Visualize yourself a year from now...how do you eat, how do you look at food? How easy it all is!

Love and light,

Hi Jan. I wonder if the weight gain isn't just a result of your body adjusting to the initial weight loss from your earlier fasts. I can imagine a pendulum that's been tilting one direction without moving for years; when you start reclaiming your health, it knocks it over to the other extreme, and then for a while maybe the whole thing rocks back and forth until, in the long term, the fluctuations subside and weight stabilizes. I bet the same kind of analogy could fit all sorts of things that happen when we start a program like this. I look forward to seeing how it goes with you.

Cheers,

Rick

Thank you all for the encouragement.

Rick, even though the massage therapist maintains I have gained strength since about half a year ago, I am way too heavy. Like 25-30 pounds.

I'll keep you posted!

Hi Jan,

Good to see you are ready to move forward. Don't worry about the weight. The longer precleanse will help with that.

Hello Jan! Here is hoping this PreCleanse goes well for you. Saurabh and I have also been having difficulty deciding on a time for our Level 3 cleanse.

I agree with Fran and the others about the weight issue. It will all work itself out with the precleanse, and a diet that changes with time.

Best of luck with your Level 3 cleanse!

Much Love,
Sumina

Hey Jan! Having to start your pre-cleanse 3 times shows you've got determination. With a positive attitude like that, you're bound to succeed. Good luck.

Hi Jan,

Congratulations on your perseverence.

I am just wondering if the stress of your life in the last few months has caused you to eat to combat the stress, hence the weight gain.

Maybe this level 3 will be a time of true emotional cleansing for you. Since the liver stores the negative emotions, I was wondering if, on your precleanse, you might want to drink veggie juices that help support and cleanse the liver. A carrot, beet, and celery juice combo come to mind. In any event, it couldn't hurt;) .

Good luck on beginning your level 3. I look forward to following your progress.

Take care,
Tisha

Hi Jan,

Third times the charm. Best of luck this time around.
I too have put a few lbs back on. It can be frustrating but don't give in to the negativeness of it. Appreciate what you've done for yourself up to now. You're alot farther along now than you would be if you had not done anything.....................joy

Actually i had pain in the liver area for some weeks, and yes, i have been drinking veggie juices.

Thanks for the advice. You're right about the cause for eating. Too much pressure during these months.

Thanks all for the wonderful support.

Jan,

I just wanted to add that focusing on your weight will make it much more difficult to reach optimum health.

I noticed that while I was watching my weight, I would eat differently depending on whether I weighed more or less...and somehow, it always felt like I was fighting my weight.

Once I decided to put the scale away, and eat healthy no matter how much I weighed, my fight with food subsided considerably.

Now I have good days and bad days, but far more good days. I am certain it is because I am motivated by a positive (good health) instead of a negative (over weight.)

Love and light,

...said Oscar Wilde (or something along that line)...and I do understand how the job can change the best of our intentions.

Sometimes I have the feeling that cleansing is a full time job :-)

Like a few fellow cleansers above, I am also considering "upgrading to Level 3" at the appropriate moment.

As they say in my neighbourhood "Derde keer goeie keer" or the third time is the right time for those who are not fluent in Japanese :-)

I wish you an interesting trip to vibrant health and I will be reading you with much interest,

yes, it is quite wonderful support, isn't it?

So, why not use the calander and put in the dates that you have finalized.... maybe that will help when they are up publicly? :-)

Wishing you all the best... peace and less liver pains.

Most of the pains we experience, especially once on this cleansing path are temporary, and they are an expression usually of change and consequently healing taking place.

Our advanced cleansers can attest to this... and Layne, well he has more healing crisis's than most people here, so he can share and guide those who have extreme crisis's.
