I've known Joshua for 20 years this lifetime. I've done minor bits and pieces for him and hps-online in the early stages of the site's development about 5-6 years ago. So I have read a lot about cleansing and knew what good it can do to a body. Yet I put it down as something not for me yet. It wasn't, considering that I had a young child and another coming along (Max is now 6, Tara 2).
A few months ago, I finally took a baby step towards cleansing and did a 7-day juice fast. I felt wonderful afterwards and talked to my husband, Mike, about it. He showed some interest, perhaps out of politeness.
Then Joshua came to Singapore before heading to Nepal last month and we met up. His impassionate discourse on cleansing so affected Mike that he agreed to give it a go - when he had time (which he never had as he's very dedicated to his work!). I said I would do it with him if he was to do it.
Finally, all the universes conspire to make this happen. He's moved on from his job. That was one of the first thoughts to cross my mind - he has all the time in the world to get his body in order now, no excuses.
So here we are ready to get our physical selves in tip top order to prepare for the next challenges.
Personally, I'm really looking forward to doing this. I'm curious to see what junk comes out and how I'll feel afterwards. Doing it with Mike is a bonus. We can encourage and keep each other company, as well as having the support of this group.
I bungy-jumped before. This can't be harder than that!
Shuk Wa (Joshua calls me by my last name Tsang, as it's customary in certain parts of China)
P.S. There's more rules and etiquettes to follow in this support group than on a golf course (not that I play golf), so if somehow I breach some rules, bear with me!) You'll hear from Mike soon!

Shuk Wa,
Sounds great! It's a fine bit of synchronicity for both of you to be able to do your fasting together. Certainly there will be no lack of sympathy or understanding that others sometimes have to endure at home. I'm about to begin my formal fast this Friday, so you should have at least one real-time example available to you before you start. I'll definitely be around to see how you do, and offer any encouragement I can.

Dear Tsang,
You are directly connected to the source and apparently now the motivation and the circumstances are right...congratulations!
As I know from experience "knowing" is one thing and "doing" is quite another.
You seem to have a sense for extreme adventures (bunjee jumping) and that is a good thing because the colon cleansing is one of the very best you could have chosen.
As for the rules and everything, it can be frustrating sometimes (like when you lose a posting that took you half an hour to write or when you post in the wrong thread or when as in my case you have to figure out what a thread is...) but it is worth your time and effort and everybody is very forgiving.
(As rules and regulations go I define them rather as relaxed as to what I am used to here in Japan)
Joshua has put together an excellent program and I am surprised at what is possible (having completed Level 2 I have only half of the picture so far)
All the best,
Diogenes_Y

Hello Tsang,
Welcome to the group. You will definitely experience improvement in health through after the program and yes, you will be suprised by the junk that comes out of you. My advice is to make sure you do a good long precleanse. When I was at your stage, I didn't see much value in a precleanse and wanted to get right down to the formal cleanse. But I did manage to go through a good 2 week precleanse and got great results. Also, make sure you relax and avoid excitement during your formal cleanse.
Good luck,
Diogenes

Hey Tsang!
I too wondered (and worried) about what was going to come out of me during the cleanse. Let me tell you, I was shocked! Even though I was expecting it, seeing that junk was quite a surprise. I'm sure glad it's out, and you will be too.
As far as rules go, just try your best. We're all human too. (When I play golf, I forget the rules and just whack the ball around for fun!)

Tsang,
Welcome to the group. You will enjoy this program. You are lucky to have a husband who is interested in cleansing.

It's heartening to have the support of people who have done this before and are so prepared to share experiences. I guess this is the best part of joining Joshua's programme.
We're still in the stage of trying to get supplies ready. We've pencilled in a date at end of the month to start the cleanse. Can't wait to feel less lethagic, energetic and renewed!

Welcome!
Please advise: do you prefer Shuk Wa or Tsang?
Glad you are here. It is wonderful that you are doing it together with your mate. That is one small regret that I have...that I have been unable to have sufficient influence on my wife. She is moving slowly, steadily, but it will be some time before she will do the colenemas.
We are all here for you. Enjoy this time of cleansing and contemplation.
Love and light,

Hi David,
Most people call me Shuk Wa now. It's slightly easier to pronounce than Tsang. Only friends from overseas who knew me from 20 years ago will know me as Tsang. That's why I'm Tsang to Joshua. Anyway, I don't have a preference, it's up to you. Perhaps it's unique and nice that people in this support group know me as Tsang!
You're right it's nice to be able to do it with your partner in life. I didn't do the persuasion. It was Joshua. He did the most convincing talking to him! I'm glad he did too, because I might have procrastinated if Mike was not doing it with me.
I'm surprised your wife is not convinced after you show her the great post-cleanse results. Perhaps the timing is not right yet. Her day will come.

She will get on board yet! (pun intended)
She is eating much better now...of course I juice for us every morning and will only eat food that combines well. So her nutrition has improved substantially. She is doing the tibs now, and she is beginning to exercise and meditate with me in the morning. So I am having some influence on her. It will all come in due time.
Love and light,

Indeed, give it time let it be an option to ask you about it if they are open minded.
Everybody has the right to live life the way it suits him or her and to be respected (also those who live on Coke and hamburgers right?).
Only if people start asking questions, I will share the information. Exception made for people who really need this program.
No use explaining things when people don't want to hear them.
The best convincing is "leading by example" and let the results do the talking.
I start to notice that people compliment me on the way I look (no, not my clothes :-) and no I don't work as a fashion model :-)) I guess that I will have to get used to this as I go to the next Levels :-)
But yes, vibrant health is possible, I can feel it more and more...
I wish you all the same and more...

I agree that the best influence is to lead by example. I am a bit of an evangelist though, I believe that sometimes it takes making people uncomfortable to get them to move. This can be done lovingly, but I have trouble keeping quiet when I see people doing violence to themselves.

Namaste Tsang!
Greetings from Boddhanath Stupa, Katmandu Valley, Nepal. It’s nice and warm here today. High in the Himalayas the suns rays are strikingly hot.
Yes, I am still here, Yes, it was wonderful to meet up with you and Mike in Singapore and Yes, and it is great to see you here cleansing with us all online. I wish you a peaceful enjoyable cleanse.
Many of our old time cleansers, before the time of Nathan_C or Sue_S, owe there online cleansing experience to Tsang. Without here help (and credit card!) those cleanses never could have been processed, so I guess what I wanted to say here is that Tsang goes back to the roots of hps. She was/is the roots of the project, so it is nice to see her joining here.
Someone mentioned in their intro a few days ago clarity, and that brings to mind a passage from my teacher, my guru, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, meditation manual called Present Fresh Wakefulness:
Leave the five senses wide open.
We have eyes,
We have ears, nose, tongue, body,
Leave all these venues wide open, unoccupied.
Let your awareness be undirected.
This empty cognizance is mind.
Do not aim at anything,
Do not hold a reference point;
Leave it wide open.
It is also said like this:
Do not focus outwardly,
Do not concentrate inwardly
Do not place the attention in between either.
Totally free.
Self-existing awareness is unimpeded.
No obscured, not blocked,
Not obstructed by anything.
Compose yourself like this.
Well Tsang, I don't think cleansing the body alone can achieve the above; the above are practices associated with cleansing the mind.
But I am sure of one thing, purifying the body and cleansing the body the way we all are here at HPS, definitely contributes to more clarity, peacefulness, and empathy. It is said- 'Mind, it's essence is clarity.'
On a physical level purified blood and purified organs feed the mind with more wholesome nourishment. Removing some of the crud and toxins that have been laying around in our bodies for years helps even more as it brings a peacefulness and calmness to the body. The internal organs rest and function more calmly.
All that is done directly in this program. Add to that the sharing, loving kindness, compassion, effort, discipline, and devotion required to make it all a success, and well, one ends up with a more positive take on life, it’s daily shenanigans, and wondrous prospects.
Many many people here who have progressed levels will tell you that their experience confirms this, and they note it especially when hard times strike, either with their health (Joy had cancer chemo recently), or with their daily life... the cleansing done this way definitely has brought noticeable, discernable transformation and a positive contribution to their over all well-being, no matter what the circumstances are.
So as you and Mike, Max and Tara enter a new stage in your life, I am confident that the cleansing started now (and hopefully continued in the course of the next year or two) will help you, directly and indirectly, consciously and unconsciously, in a most positive and inspiring manner as you all thread upon the paths of your lives.
Wishing you all the best, cleansing friend!
We all are here for you, with you.
Peace
Tsang_Y

Hi Joshua,
I mulled over Rinpoche's Present Fresh Wakefulness, tried not to have a reference point. It's hard. In fact right now it's jolly near impossible.
Cleansing of the mind is what I'd like to achieve eventually. Should that be the level 5-10 of your 7-day Wonder programme. After the cleanse of the body, naturally we progress to cleanse of the mind. No board no herbal required. Just words of Rinpoche and other gurus/masters. You'll be the missive. I look forward to that.
love
Tsang
