I realize that I am about to embark on a new phase of my life.

I can really say that it is certainly time for this to happen.

What's the old saying, "there is a time for everything" or something along those lines. I have generally lead a sedentary life indulging in food items that are of little or no substance. I certainly realized that my health was not the greatest and I tried many of the diet programs that are available.

At some point I realized that it was not just about diet but it was also about being cleansed, refreshed and renewed. I owe part of this realization to A.R. the well know "inspirational leader" of today. I have been on a long journey to wellness and love for self.

I have been married for almost 28 years. At the beginning of the marriage my husband decided to join the US Army and off we went to explore and travel. Inbetween locations I was able to obtain my Bachelors degree. As you can imagine it was a long and arduous task (stop and start, anew). I waited almost 12 years to have my first child. At the age of 34 I gave birth to my son. I have constantly felt like a suitcase, tell me when to move and where and I will go, without hesitation. In-between jobs (many volunteer) from one place to another...

I had my second child 4 years later in Hawaii. We were stationed in Korea at the time. Unfortunately the pollution is so bad there I know we all still have pollution residue in our system. I had gestational diabetes at the time, which explains why my son was born in Hawaii. Regulation of my sugar levels were unsuccessful so I was sent to Tripler Medical Center in Hawaii. My son weighed 9lbs at birth. Aside from the temporary diabetes my health has always been good with the exception of being overweight (between 30-40lbs).

A couple of years later I gave birth to my third and final child. A beautiful girl, weighing in at 10lbs. I did not have diabetes with her. Our pollution level was reduced because we had moved to Germany. My continued sedentary life had not changed. As I took care of 3 babies, often-times alone.

It has been 10 years since the birth of my daughter and I am 70lbs overweight. I have lost weight on many occassions but I have been very unsuccessful at maintaining the weight loss. At 50 years old I realize that I have to take control of my life so I can live another 50 years.

I am not new to fasting, juicing or cleansing but this 7DW Freedom Cleansing program is at a level higher than I have ever imagined and I understand that I have really been searching for it, for at least 2 years.

I have finally find it!

Lots of great people here doing the 7DW Freedom program, including of course myself too!

Please make sure to check out Dorothea's threads, from all levels, but do start with her 7DW level 1 program... it will be easier for you that way to make sense of the ride and relate to her experiences. Dorothea is your age, with grown up kids too, and has followed this program for the past two years and benefited much. You can too. She is a good model example of what a good 7DW post-cleanse can do for a woman serious about reclaiming her health, freedom and well being.

It is quite a ride that you are about to begin here, we're riding in a safe and positive direction Cassandra, so therefore, relax into it. And enjoy.

I look forward to your journey... my only regret is that you didn't find us a few years earlier... but as you said "there is a time for everything".

I look forward to your cleansing, healing, rejuvenation and prevention ... the background work you have done to date will mean that you'll be open to absorbing all the materials of the 7DW Freedom program.

If its freedom from poor or declining health that you are after, I can guarantee you that its not so far away for you. Follow the 7DW program closely and all shall be well. Along the way you'll lose some excess weight too! In other words, this is an all gain proposition!!

Like you, I had some previous fasting experience before stumbling across 7DW Freedom Cleansing, but I quickly found out that yes, this program is at the very highest level that you can find from your own home and computer, and I would wager that it beats just about everything you can find in much more expensive fasting retreat centers around the world. It's a great portent that you can set your own experience aside and recognize that there is much more to learn, some truths that you haven't yet been exposed to.

As Jos-hua has already suggested, do be sure to check out all of Dorothea's threads at your convenience. To my knowledge she is the exemplar of how much can be gained from HPS Freedom cleansing in a short time with a little education, support, and a whole lot of dedication.

One thing that would be helpful to get clear with yourself about here is that it's not about your weight. Your weight is not a condition, it's a symptom. By resolving the causative factors of your overall health challenges, you will quite incidentally find yourself at your ideal weight, as your body becomes more efficient, more intelligent, and more capable of performing its many duties. Fasting and cleansing is not about starvation in order to lose a few pounds, it's about educating yourself about the marvellous ability your body possesses to maintain perfect health and equilibrium when you give it what it needs.

Great to have you with us, Cassandra, and I'll be keeping an eye out for your precleanse thread.

It's so funny - I said something similar a year ago, like, "The second 50 years of my life is going to be way better than the first 50 years of my life" and I know yours will be too!

You are definitely in for a ride - but a good ride at that! What makes it so fun is that your health just ends up getting better and better and better. You will certainly be a different person at the end of it all. I took a little over two years to get through the levels ... and my life is SO different now. I know I wouldn't be doing the things I'm doing if I hadn't been through this cleansing program. I feel like I'm 35 instead of 51, I weigh less than I did then - I'm at my ideal weight, I'm thinking more clearly, I have more energy, less pain, more flexibility ... and the list goes on.)

This program was absolutely worth every bit of effort I put into it!

You've got to stick with the program to get the results though. Everyone has their own challenges, but you'll not only be doing yourself a lot of good, you'll be doing your wonderful children and every one you touch a lot of good too. (lucky you, you have three children!)

Welcome aboard.. I'm happy that in all your searching to improve your health and well being you have finally come across HPS.... The program has been a life saver for more than a few of us and I look forward to following along with you as you take the 1st few steps onto the cleansing path....

It sounds like you have led a very busy and interesting life taking care of your family, but now it is time to take care of yourself.... I can honestly say by going through the HPS program my health and overall being is much better at 60 than it every was at 30, 40 or 50!!! just flow...that'd be my advice if you want optimum results..

You Michael being 24 and soon Cassandra being 54... starting out on a 7DW Freedom Cleanse at the same time... so who is going to see best results?

My bet is that both of you will be thoroughly satisfied.

After all, with so many experienced 7DW cleansers watching your backs, including myself, it's going to be hard to make mistakes.

As you can already see, there is an eagerness to learn and an openness to share information by everyone here at our forums.

Everyone who has already posted on your intro, is well, excited for you.

We've discovered through this online program how to attain and sustain great health, and we just assume that you will too. Welcome to HPS... the better chapter of your life... I was also 50 when I joined the community last year and I am now 51 and I can tell you that my health condition is far better than before I started my L1... I am about to start my L3 precleanse in a few days because I have received the supps needed for the precleanse...

I know you will be experiencing a lot of good things just like all of us here.... that is 100% sure...

Jos-hua was right... Dorothea is a big help to all of us here... I used to consult her and other master fasters here as well as those who have a lot of experiences in our practice at HPS.... after one year you will appreciate and feel what I am talking about on this date... Just stick with us here and you will reap all the benefits that you have been dreaming of....
