I thought I would go ahead with a testimonial and leave the further improvements for my post cleanse thread.

It has been two weeks since my formal ended, and I am feeling terrific.
My energy has come back, and the one overriding thought I have is that a I have a renewed, higher level feeling of well-being.

I am feeling light and slim (although I am still a bit chubby.) My wife said I could not really be considered fat any more. 18 months ago I would have been classified as very obese. I lost another 10 pounds on this cleanse, for a total of 70 pounds in the last 18 months. It is almost worth it to be way overweight to begin with just to feel the joy of seeing it fade away!

The itchy rash is almost gone, and my eczema is 90% gone too, but my other health problems are still there. I think they are pretty deep rooted, so I’ve accepted that it will just take time. I have been off the pain med Neurontin for a year now, which is wonderful. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with the LF coming up.

I never saw any parasites, but maybe some missed my viewing. I dropped another 9 cups of mucoid plaque, which, although not as much as many at HPS, still seems like a lot when added up for the whole cleanse.

So now, with 3 cleanses done, the removed plaque is at 1 ½ gallons. When I picture that size and picture how all that would have looked or acted on my colon before, I am very happy with what I have eliminated.

My wife, although a bit queasy about the whole process, is delighted with the results, so the home front is well and harmonious with all of this.

I look forward to refining where I am in my post cleanse and going into level 4 in April or May.

What great progress you have since you started! That is amazing that you lost all that weight! It must feel great to not be carrying that around!

You sound like your over all health is still getting better, which is fantastic!

When I started reading your threads it was yesterday, November 16, 2004. I looked at the date you had started your first cleanse and it was exactly one year ago. Pretty cool huh!!! You have come such a long way.

You know when you started out here at HPS cleansing I seriously doubt if you thought you could within a year be so different...

To go from seriously being obese to feeling light and slim and along the way to totally drop and get rid of your pain medications (that you were taking for many years) is, according to the culture of modern western medicine, well, a miracle... but here we know better... no miracles here, just consistent taking responsibility for our own health and well being.

You had a few hard days during your formal, real hard, and now the they are history and the benefits of your level 3 are just starting to take off. I rejoice in your rejoicing, your patience, your consistency and your dedication to reclaiming your health.

I especially rejoice that your spouse is enjoying you more than ever and accepting you and your actions re your health. This is a problem for some cleansers... their spouses seem threathened... funny, but it's true.

Another point I'd like to make here is again, your participation in the group is a part of the overall recovery... new cleansers think it is just a thing to do during their formal, and then when they move on after their formal they don't make the effort to stay connected here and they disconnect from the group, but we see again and again the same phenomena, those who stay connected to the group, also stay connected to the path, and thus connected to better and more rejuvenation, continouous rejuvenation... you like many others here are proving that again and again.

Everyone here so values your insights, supports and humour Janaka , especially me!

Jos-hua, my chiropractor is also an instructor, and he tells me he has included me in his talks several times — to show that age is no barrier to losing weight.

A year ago, whoever would have thought? I commend you for the choice you made to take control of your health. I know what it is to go off medications that we have become so dependent on and to become more aware of ourselves on all levels. And all that weight loss is just an added bonus!
