Norm_S , Age 48, HPS ADVANCED CLEANSING, 7DW Level 2 cleanse. Testimonial- Cleansing is more challenging and has a gr
It is about 4 weeks since the end of my Level Two formal - Mid December.
I experienced my first healing crisis around my major health concern; allergies and asthma. I was not really prepared for a healing crisis as this is new territory for me. My allergies flared up about 5 days after I finished the cleanse. I have been uncomfortable for about two weeks, with cold and flu symptoms. It now seems to have completed yesterday. I now feel great and much healthier. I experimented with many therapies and remedies during this period from all of the books recommended during the process. I meditated, did herbs, supplements, and juices. I continued with breathing exercise and some western emergency remedies for the really tough spots. I can not defiantly say I have over come the crisis. Some may say I set the process back with the western aspects of medicine. I do not know. I do not have lots of experience with post cleanse experiences. I can neither confirm a cure nor say it is over. What I can say is that I lost 5 more pounds during my level two cleanse, for a total of 25 pounds since level one. I am now at my ideal weight. I look and feel better much better as well. Now after my allergies flare up I feel very good. I look healthy and many people have commented on my leaner appearance and my healthier eating habits. My eyesight has improved again after a short down turn the few day after the end of the cleanse. My sight is now better then the last two years. I use my reading glasses less. I recommend the two cleanses to everyone I meet that either asks or I believe would benefit. I am taking this one day at a time. I will notice how I feel in a next few months before considering level three. I sense it is better for me to do this in warmer weather as the juices and fruit aspect seems to support my constitution better then in the fall and winter months. Cleansing is more challenging and has a greater impact on my life then I imagined. The preparations before, the cleanse itself, and post cleanse life modifications take time and are a bit stressful as life habits are adjusted. The bottom line is I believe it is worthwhile, and very beneficial for my long term health. Post Script February 27 I signed up for Level Three today, three months after completing Level Two. I feel great and also sense there is more to do. The benefits so far are fantastic. My intention for this next cleanse is to maintain my improved eating habits and create a stronger more athletic body. Just losing weigh is not enough now. I want to feel I am in good shape again. There is such a correlation between physical and mental health. I am excited about level three now. I have had what I believe is a healthy skepticism. I am cautious till I experience results in line with what is promised. Joshua has delivered what he says and more. I intend to do level four as well. Last edited by Norm_S : 02-28-2005 at 01:25 AM. |

Re: Norm_S , Age 48, 7DW Level 2, Testimonial
Norm, yes it does sound like a healing crisis.
Of course the idea of a remedy comes from the old concept of eliminatng the symptoms, as if that is a cure, when, in fact, the body is actually curing you, if you let it. So even “natural remedies” may not be of any use - if they did what you were hoping for, then it would cut short the healing anyway. Best if you can avoid any drugs, whatever it takes. |

Re: Norm_S , Age 48, 7DW Level 2, Testimonial
Norm sent me this private email after the above post, so I thought I would show it and answer it here, as well as allow others to share their wisdom:
From Norm: help me out here, please. The entire post cleanse supplements I am encouraged to take are meant to aid in the healing/health process, are they not drugs as well? I thought they were meant to provide support which in turn would aid in the healing and eliminate the cause. Is doing these things cutting short the healing process? All things are chemical and energetic in nature, both whole foods and drugs. Drugs are simply a single or combination of natural chemicals designed to produce some healing result. Man made chemicals still come from natural sources. There is nothing on the planet/universe that is not natural at its core. The Universe is also both empty of self nature and has some awareness. So if the body cures it self there will be no more symptoms I imagine. What is the difference at the end of my life? I will die any way. As all things are related there will be side effects as well. In my post cleanse I mentioned it did not feel right to do nothing. Jo-shush mentioned he did not advocate doing nothing but rather use the information in the books he offered and select foods and herbs and natural healers to aid the process. He even suggested to continue with one or two herbal supplements a week from the herbalist to support improved health. So I am now simply confused. __________________ Norm My answer: Sorry, Norm, yes, I think my post was confusing. My main point was to just accept the symptoms, endure them, and not expect some supplement to eliminate them, especially for a healing crisis. Taking an appropriate supplement should enhance the healing process, perhaps make it even more intense, perhaps make you feel even more ill in the short term. |

Hi Norm,
Great to be recovering some eyesight. I'm especially interested when that happens for people; it doesn't seem like there should be any reason why one's vision shouldn't improve, but I haven't heard much about that so far from others so it's good to know that it happens sometimes. Rick |

Hey Norm,
Just finished my level 2 as well. I'm hoping my eyesight will improve eventually. It did seem a little clearer right afterwords but I still have problem with those little "floater" things in my eyes. I wish those would go away. I havn't had a healing crisis yet either but I'm sort of looking forward to it since I know something positive will actually be happening. Chris_F |

Norm,
So glad you're pressing on to Level 3. Sounds like your Level 2 was really challenging and your decision to continue on the cleansing path shows your grit and determination to stay in charge of your health. GREAT! I am finding that now that I have experienced some results from the HPS process, I do not want to miss out on everything else that could be here for me if I just follow through and practice. This stuff is really starting to sink in and it is simply awesome what it means for our lives. Don't give up, keep pressing in, keep learning, keep listening to your body and the info here at HPS. You can create what you need for yourself with the tools that are here. Keep building. You can do it! Ron |
