Last Sunday, I was at the grocery store and the guy bagging my food asked me if the food I was getting was for a restaurant. I said no and he said, you just don't usually see someone eating this way. I smiled because I knew my choices were healthier than they were even a few months ago and I really don't care if people think I am weird or "not the norm" or "too healthy" because I feel good and I don't have to give an explanation or defend myself and my choices.

I can also say that since my cleanse, I have not had a need for popcorn, crackers, biscuits, etc. I also realized that since my need for popcorn has disappeared, I don't find such a need to go to the movies because I realized that I was really only going to the movies for the treats, not the movies.
Other than that....I feel like a little bit at a time I am getting better and better about my habits and what my body needs. I don't have midnight cravings anymore. I don't even think about sugar or chocolate! This is a miracle my friends, a real miracle. I have been making banana, mango, and pear shakes for lunch and they are very filling and hold me off until I get home. For dinner, I usually eat a big rainbow salad with brown rice. And every morning I make carrot juice for breakfast. I always make sure I have a lot of apples around because they are filling and satisfy my need if I get hungry or anxious.

Heather, it's great to see that those cravings are history, and that's due in no small part to your habit of reaching for fruits or other healthy snacks when before you would be looking for sugary foods. Repeated cleanses will gradually bring results, but you have a lot of influence on the pace of those changes by making the choices you know are better for you, and you've certainly done an excellent job during both your post-cleanses, where the real changes happen.

Wow, that's all great stuff Heather! I used to live in Asheville, and we had an Earthfare natural market there, do you have them in your area? If you're shopping at a natural, organic store, you'll get less of the funny looks, plus, you'll begin to meet more people who are on a similar path.

Too funny on the movie popcorn. Hey, I smuggle in my own "treats" into the theatre! I get to watch the good flicks, plus I still get to enjoy eating - but healthy of course

It sounds like you've really refined your daily eating habits... good for you! Most people will not endeavor to change their eating habits for the better, because they are under the false illusion that they will not enjoy eating healthy foods... too bad for them. It's amazing that after eating a healthier diet for a while, and sustaining a healthier PH level, we not only don't crave the bad acid foods anymore, but we truly enjoy eating what most would consider a boring diet.

Awesome!!! Isn't it great in life when we discover that we don't need the crutches that previously held us up (or pulled us down, depending on your perspective). It is great to hear that you are eating so many raw foods and feel so great. keep it up.

ahhh, so it was a good HPS 7DW level 2 cleanse Heather!

Level 1 not only taught you and helped you become familiar with the cleansing and rejuvenation processes, it also gave you a life without sugar... if i remember correctly you titled your level 1 testimonial "sugarholic no more!"

And now level 2 led you further, deeper into cleansing, energy work and into a lifestyle of less of wheat and flour foodstuffs.

That too is pretty formidable, as much as no more sugarholic... am musing to myself, hmmm, and what will level 3 deliver? hahahhahahah

You've done great Heather.... now it's time for a life of going to the movies for them movies, and not for the sweets and popcorn... keep us updated in your post-cleansing thread on the details... I'm sure it will be interesting!

You've made great progress!! That is an awesome achievement to have put your sweet cravings behind you. But I don't think any sweets could top your lunch shakes anyway...they sound sooo delicious!

You testimonial was great! I love your story about the store clerk. It's erally amazing that someone would think that fresh foods are only for restaurants. The sad thing is, in the US that's ususally the norm. Congratulations on finishing level 2 and all that you have received from it.
